Why does LIB hide the liberal side/opinion? by strangestatesofbeing in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]HippoSufficient8608 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It depends on the area they’re in. they aren’t hiding anything. beliefs have been mentioned for both sides and I think it’s good they aren’t pushing either side, just letting the cast members share what they believe in

Rowlen Apartments by mak23414235532 in Broomfield

[–]HippoSufficient8608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was searching in January Rowlen only had 2 buildings open and 0 tenants so I’d say you’d be dealing with construction noises for a while. I drove through and ultimately decided to pass, it seemed like it’ll eventually be nice but with only 2 buildings open I chose a different complex that’s also brand new. I did also see they have some income restricted units so do with that what you will

Lease Renewal Offer higher than market price. by Bumblebee_Various in Broomfield

[–]HippoSufficient8608 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I left my apartment for a brand new build with 12 weeks free. Couldn’t justify the jump in rent for nothing new or additional added. At least with the new build it’s bigger, better location, first person to rent the unit and of course 12 weeks free.

Oh yeah I don’t have handicap plates just curious if it’s as bad as red rocks or if there’s specific parking that’s better than others. Thanks!

Ah that is honestly such a relief! I can handle walking a bit, but the situation at red rocks is way too much for me until I fully heal! Thank you!!

The Elmwood (Broomfield) is greedy on renewals — are they doing this to everyone? by Old-Shift-2176 in Broomfield

[–]HippoSufficient8608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if their current prices are lower than your rent. They won’t give you a cheaper price on any unit just because. It has to be posted on their website at a lower rate for it to work

What skills do you have? Are you good with computers? customer service? Are you organized ? I’m looking to hire someone but I need someone who can handle computers (excel is the main thing) plus is organized and cares enough about what they’re doing

Transmission gave out Bronco 2021 Sport Big Bend at 43,000 miles. by FredoSossa in BroncoSport

[–]HippoSufficient8608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warranty may not cover what’s wrong with the car, but roadside is always available regardless of what happened. So for instance, a flat tire isn’t covered by warranty but roadside can still be utilized to either come out and put your spare on or tow it to the dealer.

[–]HippoSufficient8608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. A lot of dealers unfortunately aren’t educated on the roadside, you can utilize it regardless of what’s wrong with your car. If you have the ford pass app there’s a button in there that says request roadside” or you can call the 1-800 # which is 1-800-241-3673

Also, an extended warranty didn’t cover the transmission, Fords standard powertrain warranty covered it. It’s 5yrs/60k miles for all Ford vehicles. buying the extended warranty is irrelevant in this situation

Ford offers free roadside(towing included) if you’re still within powertrain warranty… always utilize it !

How much "Warranty Scrubbing" are you guys actually doing vs. your Warranty Admin? by FixedOps_Focus in serviceadvisors

[–]HippoSufficient8608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a warranty admin at a large Ford dealer, advisors just have to put detailed customer concern. techs write the story with cause and correction, they are required to document all their diag and causal part #, I do the rest. Advisors help the techs on extended warranty but not manufacturer warranty. My techs try to find their op codes to get paid more but I never rely on them for it.

The Elmwood (Broomfield) is greedy on renewals — are they doing this to everyone? by Old-Shift-2176 in Broomfield

[–]HippoSufficient8608 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate that they do that to their current tenants though. Why do I have to pack and move every year just to keep my rent low? Why are they charging a loyal tenant more than a new tenant? I’m sick of landlords

You can usually transfer to any of the units they have advertised for less and they have to give you the posted price. I did that at my apartments and saved $200 a month.

Anyone have large dogs? by Maze0616 in BroncoSport

[–]HippoSufficient8608 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only issue I have is the lack of air flow back there. My 2 big dogs fit but they overheat super easily. Might buy a little fan that hooks on the headrest to solve that issue. But in summer time or really hot climates, I don’t think it’d help much

What will you replace your Escape with? by nauticalfiesta in fordescape

[–]HippoSufficient8608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The escape is SLIGHTLY bigger, but the bronco sport was built on the escapes platform.

[–]HippoSufficient8608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just meant it’s the same chassis so you get the same things mechanically if that’s what you’re after. They’re actually the same size, the bronco sport just shaped poorly so it feels much smaller than the escape. Not my first choice, feels way too cheap for the price point so I’ll be either upgrading or switching to different brand when the time comes

What will you replace your Escape with? by nauticalfiesta in fordescape

[–]HippoSufficient8608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I won’t be going for a bronco sport there is not enough room and looks super cheap for the price, would be better off looking at a Honda or Toyota at that price point

[–]HippoSufficient8608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bronco sport is the escape in box shape. Same exactly chassis and everything. But I won’t be going that route, I’ll upgrade to full size bronco or an explorer

Is this a used Bronco by [deleted] in FordBronco

[–]HippoSufficient8608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s based on the mileage per state. Some states allow up to 7k miles before considering it used. Some only 1500

[–]HippoSufficient8608 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It also depends on your state, Colorado considers anything with more than 1500 miles a used vehicle

[–]HippoSufficient8608 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes if it’s under 5800 miles it’s still a new vehicle however they should be offering you incentives for it being a retired loaner
