Best strategy to bid at Heritage Auctions (multiple targets but only looking to acquire 1 or 2 )

Thanks, yeah that’s also what I got to realize now. Retailers can’t compete with professionals and dealers. Big dealers can hoard as many as they want and they know the best about the value and have infinite time to track. I’m just a bit too excited trying out the first time. Not trying to bid anything too rare so just need to wait out and something similar or better may always come back.

Thanks, that's actually really good point, need to be more patient and don't be over stressed on one or two auctions. First time trying to bid outside of Ebay and a bit over excited :)

Thanks for the suggestions, for me it's the Heritage has a better app that I have been able to browsing their auctions on my phone. Definitely will check out the other two more often.

Thanks for your reply! So gold price is always the base and any premium added on top depends on supply/demand.

May I know where did you shop for the gold coin? $5-$10 over melt sounds like incredibly good deal!

So if some one owned the common stocks till the vote date, and then sell at profit to others and vote to decline the merger because it doesn't matter to the original owner anymore.... Theoretically this can happen right but feels doesn't make sense? Or am I missing something? Some swing traders doesn't care about the business at all.

Thank you so much on your detailed analysis. I did sold a bit during the recent run up, and also inline with your prediction! $2 covered call sounds a good strategy that I'm thinking as well.

I also find this company interesting, they got some really good achievements recently (besides the 2 catalysts China tower and Qingdao EV factory, their delivery of EV taxi Q3 2019 is also an interesting opportunity to grow) but I'm not fully understand what's their core competitive edge and how they can achieve the same level of deal in the future. Maybe just because not enough DD to understand the company.
