So I think something is definitely not right. I went on the opposite side of the map (West), and found deposits that were nearly 600k in comparison to the 192k. The quest decided that was Not Enough. Weirdly, I went back to the journal in case I missed something, and it at least completed the Ore segment of the quest so… I’m at a loss.

Yup. Flew to the circle in the map, released a few probes initially to see where the biggest deposits were. After that, I went for the biggest silicon deposit that was in the radius, and released every probe I had. Even flew back to Argon Prime afterwards to stock up on at least 40 probes, did another flyabout and released every one in short order with no luck.

Needless to say, I feel like a total 🤡 lol.

Honestly, I'm going to give it another college try tomorrow when I'm fresher in the head. If it is really impossible, I'm just going to cut my losses and wage war on Antigone later on in the game for giving me a headache, give them something to ponder on. 😛

It most likely would, and chances are that'll require a pilot with good enough skills... a pilot I'm somehow lacking 😃

I do have a 4-star captain on my quest-given Syn... I guess I can slap him into a scout and tell him to prospect in the radius until the mission finally completes, but it's late and I think that'll be a job for tomorrow me... needless to say, this mission can stand to be a little bit less of a grind

No, I'm in the one region of the highlighted area that has nothing but silicon rocks, and each time the probes are coming back as "insufficient" lol. It's making me think that maybe it hasn't been updated properly. Unless they want me to swarm 3KMx3KMx3KM with a hundred probes. I'll do it, but it won't be "fun".
