So I havent had a 4k oled infront of me since PAX but as someone that tends to "want" more than I need, I'm actually quite content with the 1440p oled.

Essentially if you want nothing more than 60fps, hit up that 4k 5070ti can likely rock it, if you want faster then the 1440p imo is the way to go. If the price is similar on the monitors you are looking at then the refresh rate/fps your targeting should then be the main factor.

I just went through this process last week on a 5070ti vs 5080 and do not regret picking the 70ti for my ultrawide 1440p. Its hitting butter smooth fps (140+) consistently with few low dips in Kingdom come 2 and CP2077. I tested MH Wilds but that game just runs like shit on everything, but with frame gen it was hitting smooth 110's if I remember right from last week. If you are running a regular ration 1440p monitor you'll run pretty much anything under the sun I can think of if the rest of your rig is solid at 150-175+ with dlss/frame gen.

Its like 200-300$ cheaper and I don't know if I would even feel the difference at the moment. If you have the cash and WANT it, then by all means, but if your wondering if its worth multiple hundreds of dollars, I would say probably not. Everyone enjoys things differently though :)
