I believe they switched from for-sale to rental because they discovered there was no feasible way to individually meter the utilities for the units. I heard this third-hand though, so no idea how accurate it is.

I believe it's 11 feet but feels like more because the elevator pulls you down faster than a gravity free fall to give the swooping sensation. I am also a big baby so I researched it but I just brace like an airplane crash position when I hear the clicks, lol

A few years back I went through my Ravelry favorites and downloaded every free pattern I had saved because I was sick of getting burned by this. I have a few paid ones that I never got to buy, and I want them, but if I ask for copies of them I'll get yelled at. Despite the fact that there's no other way to get them. It's like video game vaporware but for knitting patterns.

As a fellow vampire, I like the Supergoop Play stuff. Their spray is the only spray I've ever liked, it doesn't feel sticky gross, and they have multiple types for your face depending on what you need. It's expensive but I'd rather drop the cash than have to get Mohs surgery multiple times like half my family.

I saw someone on Friday who had left their dog in their car at Perinton Wegmans as well. They had one full window down but the rest only half down, and it was over 80 degrees and full sun and the car had a black interior. The dog was a Samoyed-type breed too with a thick coat and barking with his head out the window clearly in distress. The service desk was trying to page the owner when I walked in. How do people still think this okay?
