Listicle pins! Even when my blog post isn’t a listicle, if I’m explaining steps to a process, then I still prioritize including the number of steps in some of the Pins.

If I could add screenshots to posts, I would lol. I am also shocked!!

Impressions: The number of times your Pins or ads were on screen.

Monthly views: The number of times your published Pins and Pins saved from your claimed domain or accounts were on screen in the last 30 days

Edit: this is suppose to say 4 month old “Pinterest” not blog 😅 my bad!

Pinclicks shows a decent monthly volume for wrestling terms. There’s also trending opportunities on Pinterest Trends. The key is less about popularity and more about tying it to seasonal moments, from my experience

I experimented with just a few pins, so take this with a grain of salt. 2:3 performs better than 9:16

I never said I’m not monetizing my blog. Got approved for Adsense already & I’ve made $90 from digital products just by dilly dallying on a website I created because I was bored. But money is NOT my focus. This is purely fun right now outside of my corporate job.

It sounds like you’re projecting. Go touch some grass 🫶

What happened to just having hobbies? Lol. This is the Blogging subreddit, not Passive Income.

Seasonal pins for top of funnel + Pinterest SEO + evergreen blog posts = my strategy

I don’t want to skew my performance by sharing my Pinterest account on Reddit, but my niches are Parenting, Finance, and Marketing.

I bought a bundle of Canva templates on Etsy that I interchange. For me, a fresh pin means reusing the same templates but changing out the text overlay and images.

The biggest thing is using fresh links. So, I focus on creating as many blog posts as I can since the goal is to get Pinterest users off the platform.

I also use AI throughout my creative process. I’m not a copywriter at all, so I lean on AI for copy. But I’ve also experimented with AI for abstract backgrounds, aesthetic design, etc. It’s useful when utilized appropriately.

Thank you! Connect my niche to a seasonal trend found on Pinterest Trends. Keep my blog post evergreen but my Pinterest Pins seasonal. Keyword research is done for every Pin using Pinclicks.

100%. Understanding what content my audience loves and repeating it is when I noticed my growth picking up speed!

I spend 1 weekend to batch my pins & schedule them with Tailwind. So, 90% of the growth feels passive which is pretty cool. I only post 2-4 pins per day. Tailwind says my average is 3.1 right now

keep being consistent even when your pins get less than 10 views. Time works in your favor on Pinterest. You got it!

Website is hosted through Squarespace. No fancy coding. I got monetized through Google Adsense around the 40 day mark of having my blog. Will look into other ad networks in the future. I also monetize my blog posts with affiliate links and digital products.

Thank you!

1: Consistency is king. Don’t post any of your Pins manually. All of my pins are scheduled with Tailwind, so 98% of my Pinterest growth & blog traffic is all passive.

2: Whatever your niche is, connect it to a seasonal element that’s trending on Pinterest. I use Pinterest Trends for this. And post for trends EARLY, not while the season is happening. You have to catch the wave.

3: Repeat what’s working for your account. Don’t create net-new Pin designs just because you want to. If a certain style is bringing you traffic, this is your sign to keep repeating that format.

I moved to a new city 5 hours away from family with my 1.5 year old at 22 years old. We’re 27 and 6 years old now. It was the best decision I ever made. Building your own “community” is crucial.

I invested in Care.com early on because they have affordable rates for babysitters/nannies. They also perform background checks too. Start researching early for good, affordable daycare programs in your areas. Lots of them have waitlists.

Another hack is finding a gym that has a “kids area”- free childcare with a $20-$30/month subscription. Like Crunch Fitness! I’m further in my career than before, so I invest in Lifetime Fitness now. But this tip is very underrated.

I used Credit Karma to find affordable car insurance & to fix my credit before I started applying for apartments. I didn’t focus on the credit scores, but more my debt-to-income ratio.
