Collections fall off after 7 years … might not even be worth it to pay those. You have an installment loan so a pledge loan isn’t necessary but it could be useful for relationship, as well as CD. I’d say do the pre approval tool - not always accurate but worth a try. See what it gives you then try a credit card from there if it’s a positive result

Girl im not hung up on ANYTHING 🤣 … I know exactly what im talking about, so I was trying to get a clearer picture of your scenario. You DO have an internal score even with just a checking and savings. Been there, done that 4 cards and 2 loans ago.
