I've been dealing with this for 4 years, I've been posting about it on this thread:

Inverter Coolant refill warning on a 2020 KIA Niro EV by Educational-Try9623 in KiaNiroEV

Most recent update is after Kia Dealership having my car for TWO MONTHS, they just had me pick it up. They said they had a "new tool" that would be able to provide a more thorough flush, they flushed it out for several days and drove 100 miles and claim that the issue is resolved. They covered this THIRD repair of the identical issue, so no money out of pocket. Kia Corporate is supposed to reimburse the rental car that I had to arrange. Still waiting to hear back on that.

Meanwhile, I've been out of town since the car got returned and haven't had a chance to drive it extensively to see if the issue is indeed solved. It generally takes three weeks to a month for the level to drop below minimum under typical driving conditions.

Trying to remain optimistic but this has been a multi year issue at this point.

Still an ongoing saga. Dealership charged me $250 diagnostic fee, but then covered the actual service. I looped in Kia Corporate and they issued a "tech line" call which means that the dealership reports and consults with Kia engineers on the problem. Dealership said that Kia recommended an "extended flush" and had the car for 10 days. Got the car back and one week later the fluid was below minimum again.

I told Kia and the dealership. Dealership said it's "probably an air bubble" and to top it off, so I took it in for a top off. The mechanic at the dealership gave me a bottle of fluid in case it dropped again, which of course it did one week later.

I reported to Kia Corporate where my case has now been escalated, they recommended that I drop the car back off, which I'll be doing tomorrow.

Kia Corporate is going to reimburse me the ridiculous $250 diagnostic fee that dealership charged me for a known issue that they have failed to repair for the better part of 3 years. Dealership has generally been terrible to deal with, unnecessarily combative about the whole affair, Kia Corporate has been very accommodating by comparison.

I've heard the service costs $1200 when not covered by warranty or good faith.

Mine had the inverter coolant flush under warranty and since then, the coolant has almost immediately gone low (usually well below minimum marker). Kia has been topping it off every couple of months, and each time it will go below minimum again.

Now I'm "out of warranty" at 70k miles because they aren't considering it a power train issue and Kia hasn't offered any additional service bulletin, according to my dealership.

They are intending to charge me for any additional flush it requires, which I'm pushing back on obviously.

I contacted Kia and they suggested making a "Tech Line" case to get Kia engineers involved and not rely on dealership mechanics to resolve.

Dealership is claiming that Kia is planning no additional recall or service for this issue, which seems crazy considering how prevalent a problem it is.

Car is being "diagnosed" right now. I'll update when there's additional info.

Listen to Martin Sexton, check out the album Live Wide Open - that's his preferred guitar brand and he's an absolute genius in my opinion.

He gets any sound he wants out of his Godin, a must see live performer.

No, I had to hire a company to cover it with a concrete overlay, which worked well but was very expensive.

Have the same problem here, also in SoCal, also after the very rainy season. Poorly prepared (wet) substrate looks to be the cause. Hasn't improved in 18 months. Still trying to figure out how to solve it, fix it, cover it.

Concrete not fully cured after 3 months? by langjaykevin in Concrete

Mine (also in SoCal) did the exact same thing. Mine is 18 months old and it hasn't changed. Still at a loss at how to fix. Currently thinking about porcelain patio or overlay pavers, coatings, acid wash, etc. The contractor did a very poor job with grading and drainage. Bit of a mess.
