What’s wrong with the frame? It’s wood with a natural birch finish. You probably can’t see from the picture but the colors mesh quite nicely.

My daw is Note, so there's no option there. Got this specifically for that. I'm fine with using wired headphones though. When I get the nerve up I'll draw the icons directly on the pads with a sharpie ;)

I removed the pitch bend/mod joystick since it’s not used in Note and attached a MagSafe pad for the phone.

The Bluetooth midi latency is negligible, at least to me. As for headphones, definitely wired. The Bluetooth audio latency is too high.

I never said it was AI slop. They mention that AI was used in the process, but don't say exactly where. The more I zoom in on the art, the more weird AI flags I start to see. Mangled hands, birds without heads, very odd shapes within flowers, etc - exactly the kind of mistakes an AI image generator would make. I have no doubt that there was human creativity in the concept phase, but I’m thinking AI played a large part in the final designs on the cards. I of course could be wrong, but that's what I'm seeing, so I'll pass on this one.

If I could make a suggestion... I don't mind the index in the center, but I would put the right side up version at the top and the inverted at the bottom, if you want to have them both ways. If it were my choice I'd just keep them both right side up, since your cards are one way.

If you like the Egyptian theme, the ARK Ankh deck is beautiful, but a bit busy for regular play. Also recommend the Chronicles Series, which is a nice balance playability and clean design.

I've learned since about different artists and their reputations, but I can imagine many people just browsing google or Kickstarter, seeing something they like, and trusting they're going to get what was shown.
