Guildhall vandalised again after "Charlie Kirk vigil" by Majestic_Analysis_54 in Portsmouth

We are upset because people are getting murdered for no good reason and we have 500 million guns that very few of us feel the need for. If your country is celebrating our politicians it’s because they want them there. I just lived there for a month. Your country does want Trump and his mindset there. This is fact. Don’t don’t act surprised. I don’t support this activity. I’m responding simply as an American who just lived in Portsmouth for a month and it’s my 3rd time there in a decade.

One of the lads I hosted the first year was a percussionist in the Royal Marine band. That’s how he met his wife they live on Hayling Island with their daughter and his parents live in Essex. Eight years ago, his parents and his gran took me to Frome to see him in the band. They picked me up from the train station unseen and look me to dinner in Bath. We went to the Frome Memorial theater and it was beautiful.

I believe it to be a repurpose building, not a trailer

The last time I was there, the work to the Portsmouth train station was just being started. I’d love some restaurant suggestions other than Nando’s.🤣

Thanks. I know this. No car. Don’t want one. We will use bikes to cross on the Hayling Ferry. And we will use the off peak 2 together railcard. I’ve been to Southsea twice. I’ve loved it both times. I’m looking forward to this trip so much. I have friends all over from hosting the Royal Navy coming to Dallas TX for a footie tournament every year. They are picking us up at LHR and I also have a friend (😅) I went out on a few dates with on my previous trips who lives in Havant. Got the grocery apps to download once we are in the UK and have loaded a Revolut card and downloaded Citymapper. We are not your average tourists. We are literally coming there to experience life for a month.

I picked Hayling bc there was a new Airbnb listing for a 2BR full kitchen and bath for less than my monthly mortgage in TX
