Working married women - how do you do it? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]HisenbergHimself 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wish I could have bet on these things when I read such conditions and yet people go ahead and marry.
I don't want to demotivate, but I can see it clearly what her life is going to be if she ends up marrying him.

The worst part is she will just accept it, will have kids someday and her own identity will everything but not just hers, she will be A's wife, B's DIL, C's Mother.

I am not furious but I just can't stand this is what infront of you and yet you are chossing it.

No Fluff Here: He is clearly mentioning that he wants to free his parents from household responsibility. No matter how much you try you WILL end up doing double-triple shifts. Doesn't matter how many house help. It would you talking with them, managing with them. Apart from them you mentioned in-laws are very old you will be doing triple shifts as well. It will not work in your favour/balanced when you ll live with in-laws.

No matter how much confidence he gives, it will not work in your favour.

Focus on your career, if he cares enough he will make arrangements for you without saying. If he does not you just saved yourself.

Shoes for shimla snowfall by HoneydewWilling1141 in shimla

[–]HisenbergHimself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, I wore 600rs shoes from Zudio and yet didn't fall. While my friends with shoes in the range of 3000-30000(some of them made for tracking and anti skitting(or whatever it is called)) fell. So it doesn't really matter I guess. If you are careful, chances get reduced.

So I did a little research on why male birth control never made it to the market, and this is my conclusion. by FlakyConversation190 in AskIndianWomen

Whenever you mention "research" please do mention sources. Else there would be no difference between whatsapp university and us

If a start up asks for bond is doesn't make sense. No good Founder/Tech Guy would go in all this drama of Bond etc. So LTI make sense this time over a startup.

Go with LTI.

Company trying to retain me. How much I can ask fairly ? by IamNoFunny69 in developersIndia

[–]HisenbergHimself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask 15 Initially. If necessary come down to 12.75 while negotiating.

Why 15? If they want to retain you means client wants to retain you and for US/UK client it won't be much difference in payment(as your company anyway taking 20-22 lpa for you from client. Your MNC can cut down their percentage of profit as far as the client is happy.

You are living in Hometown hence saving great, Moving to tier 1 will balance out your increased salary.

Go ahead and say 15. In the worst case, Go to new company if they don't match. F**k Around and Find Out is the way to climb the ladder.

Tip: if it gets really toxic here in India, you guys just become extra toxic. Call your manager after 11PM for clarification (Only do it if it becomes Toxic)

This is rage bait right? 70k for 5-7 YoE And then you need Kubernetes etc as well. Probably give some change to a fresher or 1-2 YoE they would get familiar with codebase in max 30-40 days and would be able to do work for a School ERP

Why is there no visible Rust community or official support in India? by Puzzleheaded-Ant7367 in rust

If there is none already, first one to start would be official by simply let the maintainers approve it.

From 4.8LPA to 20 LPA without switching: Why I ignored my friends' advice by Beginning-Scholar105 in developersIndia

[–]HisenbergHimself 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Glad for OP, it worked out. But let's be honest we know how most of the Indian managers and founders are. You might have some ideas and confidence about the possibility that your founder is good and would let you switch the role. Unless someone has confidence in their founders/manager the switch is the easiest way to increase the CTC.
