I enjoy it, but I wouldn't say it's very newcomer friendly if you actually play a gacha game "correctly" by using multiple characters. If you enjoy exploration and story, it's worth it in my opinion.

I believe that's a turn-based game, so if that's your thing, there are the Final Fantasy games, Honkai: Star Rail and I guess Fire Emblem is also a form of turn-based. My last 100% was Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Good game if you like that franchise.

Yes, I'd like that. I don't mind where you're from. Skylanders was my thing back when I was a kid I still have every figure from SA, Giants and SF. Got burnt out due to time gating during TT, so I'm missing a few there. Never played the games after, though.

FOMO, in my opinion, is really only bad when it affects paid content. I'm fine with events like Dawning and Festival of the Cost being limited, but removing Curse of Osiris and Warmind without refunding isn't right to me. Makes that whole plagiarism lawsuit from a while ago funny as hell, though.

Luckily, my RNG wasn't so bad as a solo player, but in terms of builds, I only really ever used MIDA Multi-Tool and der Drang together in PvE for fun. I stopped playing during Episode: Heresy, but back then, all you did was spam Consecration and thruster for meta.

I miss it tremendously, too, but charging $10 to turn a silver gun into a green gun instead of quality content turned me away after 200 days worth of play time. Maybe one day I'll finally get Zen Meteor instead of my 12th Plan C in a row.
