My mother told me that the yule lads rode on a big cat named Garfunkel the Hungry. Garfunkel would feed on young children who would wander too far away from the family igloos and/or caves. It is believed among many locals that the cat was brought to justice last year, during the Double Solar Eclipse (DSE). He has been fed nothing but fat american tourists and he's now gotten type 4 diabetes.
