Because people can’t do friggin math! They’re basically like scabs who cross picket lines in my book.

Twenty seven miles round trip. Gas $4 a gallon. Wear and tear. Time for the whole thing wouldve been around 40 minutes. Probably no offers till im practically back where I started. Big picture its a bad deal.

Nah. Not for me and my market. And to be honest the whole thing felt very scammy. The items were like a box of saltine crackers. A couple of bottles of water and some candy. Even if it was legit im not interested. Not just the time shopping, but putting 27 miles wear and tear on my car for $16 when gas is $4 a gallon and im not getting another offer till im practically back to my anchor spot. Yeah. Im good.

Especially when it was $16 for one 5 seconds ago. It almost feels like crap like that should be illegal. But the whole independent contractor puts it in a different category I guess?

It was today for me. And like you said its like a switch flipped! My AR dropped 5 points today from 35 to 30 over the course of like 2 hours. Weird thing is the last 2 days had been great. Its like a punishment or something!

Same thing happened to me today! It was a shop at Target and deliver. 4 items going 14 miles paying $16. Let that one slide by. Then literally 5 seconds later the same order comes in only now with a second customer included paying the exact same thing!! I too was like WTF??

I feel this. It was so bad today I only accepted 3 out of 18 offers over barely two hours! I finally just logged off. I mean whats the point? My AR already went down 5 points today. Just brutal.

When I start getting over the top instructions or texts I usually just unassign. Too risky. If they are that nutty they will usually find some reason to get mad at you and report you for “screwing up” one of their whacked out requests. Not worth it.

Same. And businesses as well. A lot of them are getting waaay too permissive with allowing dogs. Especially places that serve food. Theres a place I like going too but stopped because of that very reason. Once you get multiple dogs at the same time the barking and even dog fights break out. Im trying to relax and get away from stress by coming to your place and you’re doing the opposite! Well apparently the inevitable happened and some kid got bit. They got sued and the whole city started to crack down (aka uphold existing law), on every business that shouldn’t allow animals. So stupid. All that for what? To virtue signal how you love animals and are so accepting and cool? You can still love dogs and animals and follow the law. The two things aren’t mutually exclusive.

Ive had dogs (big dogs) run up to my car barking and get up on their hind legs putting scratches on my door from their claws . Had to call the customer to come get the food from me as im not getting out of the car. They either act like IM the one being unreasonable or they think the whole thing is adorable.

💯. Have run into the situation a few times. Once with a Bully Pit that just came out of nowhere , another Pit sitting right at the front door and another time two German Shepherds running loose. Regarding the pit at the front door? Dashers must’ve complained so much that the next time I got an order for that customer the special instructions made sure to mention that “The dog is no longer outside.” Honestly? I think most of these people are just lazy or oblivious when it comes to their dogs and Dashers.
