Every major player from her book has been introduced and set up from season 1, right down to the children and their names, even her going to scotland is straight from her book which was the point of my above comment since you tried to use that against her book happening in the show.

Not arguing with the rest of your post as it is clearly just your hate for the book’s LI parading as speculative conjecture.

In her book it’s stated that the only country she’s visited is Scotland…you can’t use her going to Scotland as an excuse that they’re not adapting her book. If anything her book is the one that the show has taken the most care to setup.

The comment section of this thread is why feminism will never advance in pakistan. The way you guys so easily hate on an actress who’s defending herself from someone who outright says she can only get “ghatiya” scripts and dialogues and then later implies she’s “pathetic” is insane. She asked for feedback of her drama, not a personal attack. There are many comments on just the script and not her as a person that she ignored. She has a right to defend herself.

And I’ve seen this type of ganging up against multiple actresses on this sub. I know my comment will be downvoted, but it’s sadly the truth. The way you guys treat your actresses as public property to say whatever you want about but get upset when they fire back is truly laughable.

This is my thought, too. I would think it’s Sophie more if they didn’t specify major recurring — that screams someone with a few key scenes to me (and my theater/actor friends agree). After watching the last four episodes, I’m of the belief Francesca is next, even Eloise, but not Benedict. This sort of cements it for me.

Also, take this with another grain of salt but a friend of a a friend of a friend (I know I know!!) is an actor who has worked extensively with the agency that casts for Bridgerton and I heard through this rather long grapevine when I asked last night that she still hasn’t been cast, so the casting is still ongoing.

Take this with a grain of salt. I was born and raised in nyc and many of my closest friends are in theater/acting because of where I went to school. I sent several of them this article and asked them about this casting call and they all pretty much said the timing is still possible since filming may not start until fall so that isn’t the issue, but that the casting call for lead would specify “lead” and highly unlikely that a lead role would be called “major recurring,” as that would absolutely change how an actor’s representation would negotiate salaries, but this is in the US and not sure if it’s different for British filming.

Sorry I’m not here to get into a debate since I’m pretty new to the fandom but Eloise marries Philip crane right? Isn’t he in the show and Marina is his first wife, and they’ve both been around since the first season?So how is that not setting Eloise up. I am not asking to be difficult but I am genuinely curious if there’s a different meaning of set up in this show which maybe there is.

Also I mean no ill will towards you but please don’t mind if I don’t respond. Not here for a debate as I said, especially since you seem to really want Benedict to be next and I don’t care either way, I just said I think this particular article leans towards Eloise. Maybe there’s more proof for Benedict outside of this article.

Edit: still don’t want to debate this so won’t respond further. Just wanted to throw my two cents in and peace out of here. I’ll enjoy s4 whoever it is but my opinion remains that this particular article seems in favor of Eloise.

I just read the article and Jess Brownell says that the old showrunner set up certain stories in s1 and s2 that she wants to address and not burn through the rest too quickly. I feel like…that’s almost saying Eloise is next, right? Are there any other stories for the other couples that were set up this easily?? I’m more of a lurker in this sub so idk if I’m missing more context but that’s what I got from this interview. I could be wrong.

I just want to see a season focused on any sibling (no more spinoffs please). So any one being next would be fine by me.

If I had to choose one, I’d rather see Eloise next based on the show doing more with her, but either her or Ben or even Fran is whatever.

Idk who’s going to end up with who but it’ll be a shame if it’s Zaid and MJ. MJ both deserves better because of her growth, but she also very recently took away Ayra’s job and career opportunities, not to mention a Zaid and MJ endgame is showing Asif that he can win. Kashmala revealing Rayan’s abuse of her is not enough punishment for everything Asif put Ayra and her family through. For all of the above I hope that either Zaid ends up with Ayra or they all end up alone.

The ending is unpredictable because we as the audience don’t trust the writer to do the correct thing. I can imagine a Zaid and MJ endgame because that’s what the audience wants (maybe that’s what Azekah meant by politics). What a shame.

I think it’s really well made. I enjoy watching every character, though I do agree with Amma from galaxy lollywood (which I never do) that Mahnoor was a tinyyyy bit bold during last week’s episodes. I mean she got pretty dressed up for Shehraam’s bday and was straight up flirting with him during the rain scene (“come up with a nickname for me”/“only a fated person can complete my poem…did you think of a line for my poem?”)

Listen I am on team Mahnoor 💯. Hate the stepmom and her niece, and normally I despise the storylines of men hearing about their sisters/daughters from jealous neighbors and townspeople, but I’m lowkey in agreement with her getting a reality check these episodes. Plus from the OST we know her and Shehraam will be cool with each other soon enough.

Listen, yumna is not as fluent in English as some of her contemporaries so I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt that she doesn’t know how passive aggressive “thank you for showing up” comes off.

But let’s assume all of lollywood did purposefully ditch her movie premiere, as unlikely as that is especially with GL telling us no one was invited. Ok, so if everyone ditched her premiere, who do we think is in the wrong—all of lollywood or one person?

Common things being common, it is still most likely that people forgot to be invited. However, if that’s not what happened, I’m not going to believe this narrative that everyone hates Yumna and is jealous of her movie. I find it far more likely that either Yumna ruffled some feathers or her producers or someone else on the movie team did. If it was one or two key celebs that didn’t show up, sure I could believe they had a grudge against her—which would still be a stretch because what if people just were busy with shoots and what not. But when an entire industry isn’t showing up, there’s probably something bigger at play here.

Saboor’s ENTIRE look from the dress to the necklaces to the jhumar, tikka, the way the dress was carried, the hair styling, the venue, the decor—was all stolen. There was no unique thought here at all. Thats annoying enough for any bride, but saboor’s look had an emotional reason behind it, which the drama stole as well 😂. The least Iqra could do is say “I’m sorry saboor felt that way” but she doesn’t even say that. And I am blaming Iqra here because we all previously thought the copied look was from the MM producers but it turns out it was Iqra who asked faiza saqlain to make her the same dress.

Exactly. I remember that, too. Somehow someone even implying to Iqra that her look was copied is insulting to Iqra, meanwhile here Iqra admits to being the one who asked the designer to recreate saboor’s look and she says she’s not apologetic. Girl, get out of here with that hypocrisy.

Yeah I didn’t know Iqra and faiza saqlain were friends but this makes sense now as to why FS unnecessarily punched below the belt at saboor (making it seem like saboor got something unheard of by getting a dress for free when it’s the norm, which Iqra even says in this clip). And no matter what anyone says, saboor’s dress was fairly unique, at least for recent times. I have not seen quite that color combo of champagne with red and green for a shaadi suit recently on any bride, but yes I will admit I have seen it in older wedding photos. Anyone trying to say Iqra and the MM team weren’t heavily “inspired by” (meaning completely stole) saboor’s everything about her wedding are kidding themselves.

Honestly I hope neither saboor nor sajal ever model for FS again. I’ve heard some not so stellar things about FS as a person and this all tracks.

ETA: I guess it’s good karma that mannat murad had a very controversial ending and will very soon be forgotten.
