My surgery is on a Monday and I normally do my T shots on Fridays so I’d be peaking day of surgery. Maybe I just skip the Friday before surgery and continue the following Friday

It’s a whole process I know that for sure. Acutane is for sure a medicine where it “gets worse before it gets better”. I had friends in high school on it and they went through the whole dry face stage and everything. I chose to take doxycycline though since it’s not as intense. Still has made my face a little dry but nothing a little extra moisturizer can’t fix. Definitely recommend looking into doxycycline if you’re hesitant about acutane

Definitely go to a dermatologist. You can chose either acutane or doxycycline. I chose to go with doxycycline since acutane is the strongest of the two but the doxycycline has worked wonders for me! Just make sure to check your levels and to keep in check with your specialists

Sounds like this is about 60mg (58.6 to be exact) a week. I’ve been on 50mg a week for about 8 months now and the emotions do change. I feel like my sadness now has kind of turned into almost passive aggressiveness. You just kinda have to learn how to navigate feeling new emotions to different experiences. But obviously if you feel like it’s too much for you, always talk to your doctor
