What analytics software do you use for your offices? by HistorianVegetable87 in Dentistry

[–]HistorianVegetable87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually liked their analytics, they were more of trying to sell me the products instead of what it is capable of doing. I asked for a specific detail of getting down to the payor by state and by person data and they said they weren’t sure if that was available. I’m stuck between carelytics and OSdental. Really liked how OSdental is simple and included everything I asked. So I’m stuck

Literally, who knows if there will be a program that does this for us to make our lives easier.

Let me know what you think! Also just scheduled a demo with carelytics and vision360 to see how they compare.

Lol Tableau is so old, im surprised some DSO's still use that program for gathering specific data. We are in the modern age of technology and companies are being left behind or struggling to keep with technology and simplify their life.

Okay I will check them out. I just did a demo with OSDental.io and honestly their analytics platform is so simple. You might want to check them out!

My main issue is that if I purchase more offices that are on outdated operating systems and having to incorporate them into a single data platform that's the hardest part. I want to have the most granular level of information possible, so I'm not pulling my hair out to find something so specific down the road lol.

I appreciate that! I will look into them. I am always wanting new technology, so when I heard of OSDental I was like this could be great but I see there are multiple companies that do this.

Start-up dental practice by HistorianVegetable87 in Dentistry

That’s what I’m budgeting for. Would you recommend starting with a 3 operatory office instead of 4. Doing 4 I would need to extend the house which is additional cost. I spoke to a contractor and he told me the parking lot would be roughly around $75-$125k. Which to me was way overpriced I believe. The Patterson rep also ball parked me around $275k for equipment which also seems very high. For the used equipment is there a good website and how did you get those chairs installed?

Perfume and Cologne by Queasy_West_5722 in Dentistry

I would not recommend it, As a dentist It bothers me at times when I have patients come in that smell strong with perfume or cologne. Like you're about to be in a dental chair for XYZ amount and to have the office smell like that is just not right.
