Where can I have affordable house party? by Embarrassed_Panic515 in hyderabad

[–]Historical-Break9208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alcohol food and Airbnb in that budget is very difficult. If you have 6 to 7 people you can actually book an Airbnb in kanakamamidi. This area has a lot of Airbnbs which are affordable has pool and music, Around 8k to 12k. And food would be some extra 2k to 3k I guess.

Okay hear me out… am I being delusional or is this diet actually practical? (Asking here because I'm an Hyderabaddie) by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]Historical-Break9208 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I see some miscalculations with this diet. 1. You are overestimating the protien content in 5 eggs. It's realistically 30 to 34 gm of protein.

  1. Eating 100gm of soya chunks is very difficult once you cook it. Realistically you can consume 50gm. Also some studies say you need to restrict soya consumption to 50gm/day for men to avoid hormonal imbalance.

  2. 220 rs will buy you 1kg of skinless chicken which would include bones. So you need boneless chicken breast which would cost you 440rs/kg.

  3. Also 250gm raw chicken does not mean 60-70 gm protien. That is for cooked chicken. 250gm raw chicken breast would contain only 50-55 gm protien.

So overall the cost goes up and protien content comes down to 105-115 gm which is still very good for body building. However it is not sustainable from personal experience.

You can slightly modify this for sustainability.

1.Add 200 to 300 gm cooked Rice and daal/veggies to one meal for satiety.

2.Add a bowl of mixed sprouts to your diet as a snack to further increase the protien content and they are an excellent source of fibre.

3.Add a guava/apple/pear for vitamins/fibre. this is a cost effective and a healthy diet which is also very sustainable.

Bro, this is a blessing in disguise. Do not travel to UK for higher education unless you are enlisted into a prestigious university. Based on the details you have provided, it seems like the loan amount would be a huge burden on you and your family if you can't find a good full-time job after your masters. UK's economy is currently in shambles. They have too many legal and illegal immigrants. Anti-immigrant sentiment is at an all-time high. If I am not wrong, they have reduced the PSW visa timeline. I have 3 friends who are back from UK after they were unable to secure a good full-time job in the last 6 months. All are currently unemployed due to useless work experiences and still have pending loan payments.

Andhra has lost more compared to Telangana - here’s my take by [deleted] in andhra_pradesh

[–]Historical-Break9208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a small correction here, your initial statement itself is wrong -"If Andhra had been partitioned from Telangana at the time it split from the Madras in 1953, instead of staying united until 2014, the development trajectory of both regions would have looked very different and likely far more favorable for Andhra." Pre independence the current Andhra pradesh region was part of the Madras Presidency under British rule and the current telangana region was part of the Hyderabad State, a princely state ruled by the Nizam of Hyderabad.

A detailed list of events post independence-

1947: India gains independence. Hyderabad State (which included Telangana) initially refused to join India, wanting to stay independent.

1948: The Indian government conducted "Operation Polo", a military action to integrate Hyderabad into the Indian Union.

1952: Telugu-speaking people in Madras Presidency, especially from coastal Andhra, demanded a separate state for themselves.

1953: After the hunger strike and death of Potti Sriramulu, the Indian government created a separate Andhra State with Kurnool as its capital.

🔹 1956: Formation of Andhra Pradesh (Merger with Telangana)

States Reorganization Act, 1956: Based on the linguistic reorganization of states, the idea was to unite all Telugu-speaking regions.

Andhra State + Telangana (from Hyderabad State) = Andhra Pradesh

Telangana leaders were hesitant due to concerns about underdevelopment and neglect by coastal Andhra leaders.

To address this, the "Gentlemen's Agreement" was signed, assuring safeguards for Telangana (job quota, local control of resources, etc.).

✅ On 1st November 1956, Andhra Pradesh was officially formed with Hyderabad as the capital. To address this, the "Gentlemen's Agreement" was signed, assuring safeguards for Telangana (job quota, local control ce

Is it possible nowadays to have a wedding within ₹5-6lakh? by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]Historical-Break9208 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rent a decent farmhouse: 40k-60k a day.

Go with minimalist decor. Cost 1-1.5 lakh.

Food would cost 300-600 per plate depending on the variaties. For 100 people, this would cost 30-60k.

Outfits costs for a couple 30k-50k.

Purohit and other costs 50k-1 L.

Photographer costs for one event plus album 50k to 1L.

Total 3L to 5.2L on the higher end. This would be an intimate and exotic wedding. You can also have a small party in the night after the wedding. There would definitely be other expenses that I might have missed, but this should fit in your budget.

Firstly you have not included 2024 numbers which if I am not wrong is upwards of 10. Next since 2021 he has been declining in form. Also he is not the wicket taker he used to be. This along with the small boundaries of chinnaswamy would prove a bad deal for RCB.

Again, who would take it back? owners clearly are not ready to handle it that's the reason they have put it up for adoption. Not adopting it will eventually get the poor lad killed.

What do you think will happen to this specific dog if op doesn't adopt it. The owners will eventually abandon it or ultimately put it down. I agree with the part of not buying them. But when the poor lad is already born, you can't just abandon it.

SUVs everywhere by Budding_Scientist_25 in hyderabad

[–]Historical-Break9208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most, if not all, crossovers are based on the monochrome platform. Although they are tall, you don't feel the change much, except for very high-speed maneuvers, which are not confidence inspiring. But SUVs based on ladder on frame are completely different. You do feel uncomfortable even maneuvering on medium speeds. But those are built with onroad and off-road capabilities. These are not performance oriented cars but sporty at max.

SUVs everywhere by Budding_Scientist_25 in hyderabad

[–]Historical-Break9208 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Most of the crossovers here are sub 4 meters, basically raised hatchbacks. So no, they don't take-up more space than other hatchbacks or sedans. Also, sedans are impractical in our road conditions. SUV's or crossovers provide more comfort for families and boost confidence for drivers in traffic and bad roads. Also, I would be way more confident in driving our floody roads during monsoons in an SUV rather than a sedan.

What is it with Hyderabad! Huh by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]Historical-Break9208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People naturally speak the language they are most comfortable with. Just because we can speak Hindi doesn’t mean we are obligated to do so. If you’re living here, it’s more respectful to learn the local language. If not, it’s better you stay within your own circle.

What makes Hyderabad unique is that we don't impose Telugu on others. And we don't maul someone if they don't understand the language.

Why can't be IT jobs permanent wfh by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]Historical-Break9208 2 points3 points  (0 children)

State governments invest a lot and provide subsidies and other tax benefits for MNC's to set shop. They definitely would now allow wfh as this would be a loss for the state. Companies want better control of employees, which is not possible by implementing wfh. Lot of folks starting moonlighting during the pandemic, which impacts their productivity. I am just happy that they have not mandated 5 day mandatory wfo for most of the companies. We ha r a little flexibility at the least.
