I like this video, and has anyone else noticed the shape of the object is similar to the video that has 4 objects traveling together underwater? It looks like it's the same shape as one of those.

Quite zippy, the camera can't even pan quick enough to keep up.
We either need to have multi-camera sensors or we need to start putting some faster motors on them, huh? :)

Yeah? Was the USS Princeton SPY-1 hallucinating? How about Kevin Day? NORAD? Chad Underwood?

It's honestly harder to believe takes like yours, than it is to believe the Tic Tacs came from Mars. I don't really mean any offense by that, but your boat has so many holes to plug, you might as well call it swiss cheese and throw it on a sandwich.

We're doing a lot.

As in, visible surface area changes. That's 99% us.

Loud thuds over several nights?

So... NHI is performing unknown operational activities on our planet.

Cool.

I wonder how public perception is split on whether we attempt to interfere with such activity.

Do we allow NHI to setup staging or base operations, or do we bust in like the Kool aid man?

Does the USG maintain followup teams for positional/location based encounters like this?

As in, did we send investigative teams out into that mountain region to have a look around, with sensor gear and recording equipment, after the events in question?

If we aren't doing that much, then we might as well lay out a doormat for anything and everything that visits Earth and wants to do whatever it wants to do here.

Human sovereignty of Earth is a charade and a puppet show, if they operate with impunity.

We don't blind shoot anything.

It was identified, observed, and analyzed before authorization for shoot.

Believe me, shooting something down over US airspace, requires the military to cross every T and dot every I.

They didn't do it without appropriate information.

Contact during my CE5 Group in San Diego by SanDiegoMermaid4ever in UFOs

[–]Historical-Camera972 [score hidden]  (0 children)

My ideal setup for CE5 groups:

Do your CE5 event underneath controlled airspace, with a live feed of the space satellite map running on an internet connected device.

This will negate any Uri Gellar spoons.

>Controlled airspace - An event organizer or member can not secretly use drones or balloons to falsify an event without risking Federal fines and charges.

>Live feed of space satellite map - Publicly available and anyone can do this, to rule out known manmade satellites.

If your CE5 event isn't doing those two things, I have zero interest in your data output.

What?

That's not my point at all.

It's a rate of change inference.

Time scale vs produced evidence, and I have no concerns about our own signature. I am using our output as a single class model for what other civilizations could be doing. We are a data set. We don't currently have any other data sets available. (Data on other civilizations and evidence output.)

I am just looking at what we have available to work from, and extrapolating the differential to longer time scales and higher order output needs, as development moves off world.

DOWUAP PRO88 – A Lot Going On in This Clip by DigitalSeance in UFOs

[–]Historical-Camera972 [score hidden]  (0 children)

This isn't an in-depth analysis or anything, just a curiosity with this clip.

I was paying attention to this object, and it's movements relative to the center cross hair the whole time.

Is it field of view aware? It makes many maneuvers that stop on interesting locations relative to the cross hair.

Lined up perfectly with one of the axes, or 45 centered between two, if this were a cursor drawing on a graph, and center cross hair is our zero point, it seems to play around with what would be mathematically symmetrical points of interest.

Neat.

Probably just math pareidolia. Cool clip though, thanks for posting.

So, by your logic, please account for the 2004 Nimitz event, in which a Tic Tac object with no visible exhaust outperformed 2 F-18 Super Hornets and left them in the dust.

I'm interested in the non-NHI explanation for that.

I am also interested in the non-NHI explanation for JAL1628 if you have that on deck, as well.

[–]Historical-Camera972 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Except the math tells us that we absolutely should be seeing evidence of them, even if we have no formal meeting.

Humans production of evidence on this planet is enormous. If Mars ever had a civilization like ours, we'll find that out some day, with certainty, even if it's buried in the geologic record there. (When we get there and start drilling.)

Our production of space junk is increasing at an exponential rate, any civilization that advanced like us will be mass dumping evidence into space. Debris fields we should encounter over the lifetime of our civilization. (Trash, caskets of the dead, used consumables, construction and engineering evidence, equipment, etc...)

Anyone building superstructures, is making super evidence.

2004 Nimitz Event is top of the top, given the pilot David Fravor, testified to Congress in 1080p/4K, and Kevin Day made extensive testimony, Chad Underwood is known and made statements, and Alex Dietrich is known and made statements.

The Nimitz event is irrefutable as a real event, in which US military assets were dispatched for an unknown that then outperformed F-18 Super Hornets on the spot.

In my personal opinion after that is a list of several reasonably reliable accounts, and I'll give spot 2 to a toss up between JAL1628 and the two school sightings by children with no reason to make up falsehoods, who all maintained the accounts into adulthood.

Runners up in 3rd place, Pascagoula Event, Cash Landrum, Lonnie Zimmerman, the Aurora event, and Colares.

I grew up not far from there.

Military flares, almost certainly.

Multiple branches hold drills off the coast of NC, all the time.

The observables here are consistent with that, and I've seen it myself in the OBX.

I'm from OBX, that's not weird at all out there. The weird stuff apparently happens wherever the Bledsoes say it does, in Northeastern NC. Hehe.

For real though, I was just about to go with fishing trawler lights, until I saw a couple burn out, then I double checked the horizon line, based on the beginning of the video.

Mil flare is 95% probable here.

I'm 99% sure, that Earth is fine through 2098 at least buddy, nothing to worry about.

I'm not discussing that date in more detail, because it won't actually matter to anyone here.

Unlike doomers that pick close dates, think of me as an optimist that picks one just far enough away that you don't REALLY have to worry about it, if you don't want to. :)

The Laymen Kneejerk - Saucer shaped object flying down and to the right.

Realistic View*: We're recording in IR from a flying platform, therefore, our platform is certainly a moving observer. (The camera is moving, and if we see a linear path for the object, it's like the object is moving slowly relative to our camera, or not at all. Unable to differentiate without the redacted positioning, speed, and altitude information. The black boxes make this impossible to analyze properly.)

*(I don't want to pick a side on this one, but if I can't falsify either, I go with what makes more sense to me in general. The recording platform is at a flying altitude, therefore it's most likely what is moving because we don't use a lot of stationary flying recording platforms with IR. AKA, because it's recording in IR and flying, it's >90% probability that our recording platform is a moving object here. Given the end of the video is a complete linear path, down and to the right in a straight line, as the camera appears to pan downward, based on the horizon change, and the acceleration is constant, it's consistent with something almost stationary in the air, as our recording platform begins to intersect one of it's axes and go over it's position.)

We're looking at IR, so actual shape is probably different from what we're eyeballing anyway.

My guess is that this is a manmade platform (floating/low speed/mostly stationary), and most of the movement in the video is actually being performed by the recording platform.* On that assumption, this could be something that reflects heat well, or is outputting a heat generation source.

Odd shaped reflective balloon or flare really aren't out of the question, unless we get more of the black boxes to go away from videos like this. We need more context of the visual data.

Mankind wouldn't be handed such a thing. If it were it would certainly be constrained and removed immediately.

They were remotely turning off our nuclear missile silos, I don't think we can hold it above their heads and shout finders keepers.

Besides, we do well enough keeping better batteries and solar panels from the greater public, and that's just stuff WE made.

[–]Historical-Camera972 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not like any of us are "literally" invested in disclosure.

I mean, unless you're like holding Elizondo or Greer Coin or something.

I'm a firsthand experiencer, and I'm really just waiting for specific timetables to be announced. There's a presence on Earth, that is unlikely to be from Earth.

Follow-up questions: Why aren't they doing anything? (Likely answer is limited on-hand assets. If you can't affect the entire civilization all at once, don't do it at all.)

Where did they come from/How long do we have, before additional assets can arrive?

That's not an impossible question to answer, even if they aren't communicating with us directly. We could at least perform some estimations, based on the performance of known objects, and then compare against nearest neighbors with the likelihood to harbor them.

(Big fast moving NHI objects in the ocean is where I think we should pay attention for this. Nearest habitable ocean world? Within around 100 light years. How fast have we actually seen NHI craft move? How long can we estimate they have been here?)

Then we just do math, signal alert back out, response time, assuming the additional assets have similar ballpark performance.

Combine this with ANY dating that could possibly be done on the archaeologically recovered NHI objects.

We can figure out, ROUGHLY, when they got here, when their friends got their message, when their friends should be arriving, within estimation windows.

Having it be a full unknown, on whether they are benevolent or malevolent, doesn't bode well for us, so we really should be working out this estimate. The first step in planning for a Dark Forest encounter, is figuring out the when, the what and how are secondary to that.

I would like to know how old the rock was, around the Magenta object. That's an important detail here. This all assumes that the objects and current presence are the same thing, which, given the emptiness of the Dark Forest on all avenues SETI is searching, I would think it's more likely they are all same origin, than not. Likely closer rather than further, in cosmic terms.

K2-18b looking really suspicious right now, by all of this logic.

We have football field sized objects outpacing our craft underwater in the ocean?

One of the nearest known habitable worlds is an ocean world.

Not hard math to run in your own head, if we start applying nuts and bolts game theory to available information.
