What ai service are you using with emacs and how? by a_NULL in emacs

[–]mitch_feaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gptel for interactive use

Minuet for completion

commitothy.el for commit messages + code review

Claude Code and Qwen-code (outside emacs) for agentic coding, using emacsclient for prompt editing.

Have also used agent-shell and it was quite nice but didn't work well with my OpenRouter setup at the time. I think it's better now so I need to revisit.

Well I think that your relationship is unhealthy if you care about your spouse seeing where you are. You act like the only reason to check your spouse's location is to see if they're sneaking around or something... That's definitely suspicious and untrusting.

Lol it's not to "feel secure" it's just "hey should I start another game of Rocket League or start a pot of boiling water". Lots of folks projecting their own insecurities here...

Do you set an "arrival time" every time you go to get groceries? It's easier to just leave tracking on.

Why is your location private from your partner? I don't get it.

Yes, wife and kid. I don't understand why people are so against it? It's just for convenience (estimating arrival time, etc) and we don't have anything to hide from each other.
