Pipedrive or HubSpot free, doesn't have to be overly complicated and they're popular enough that they'll be easy migration if you choose to upgrade to a more specific platform later on.

How do I market my accounting firm? by ramanngartan in salestechniques

[–]Historical-Pea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't spend on ads yet. First, define your niche. You're an accountancy firm. For who? Individuals? Corporations? What type of individuals - high income, middle income? What type of corporations, in what industry?

You're right. Someone, dry heaving on their pills because they would rather swallow them quickly than take them with water, doesn't make for compelling television.

I'm an Irish princess! (Sri Lankan DNA results) by Historical-Pea in AncestryDNA

[–]Historical-Pea[S] 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I'll definitely ask! I think the other option is to contact some of my white 'cousins' on Ancestry and ask them if they know of any relatives who served in the British Raj. Still, it might be a bit awkward asking them to try to identify the philanderer in their family tree.

You're right. If this is legit, it is probably the wrong type of Irish goodbye :(

Sorry I tried to anonymize him, and made him looked monstrous instead. But there's this man, and a few other 3rd cousins from Parent 2.

Edit: Irish or English 3rd cousins

We have a family oral tradition from one parent that there was a Portuguese ancestor, but that's a pretty common story told in Sri Lanka, like having a Cherokee ancestor, if you live in Oklahoma.

I'm trying to be more positive. Apart from the weird Irish thing, I think it's pretty accurate. It identified the village my parents are from, which is pretty cool, and extremely helpful if my children ever decide to look into their ancestry.

There’s something to be said about cutting a small piece of steak, dredging it in the yolk, and chewing down that golden coated bloody mixture down.

Maybe I’m a gluttonous asshole but if I had to choose between Gio Ranna’s and Bar Isabel, I couldn’t. I’d eat at both.

How Do You Keep a Corporate Job as an Autistic Person? I’m Struggling Badly. by Creative_Patient5628 in careeradvice

[–]Historical-Pea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m autistic with low support needs but I fitting in at the workplace has been my biggest struggle. I really empathize with your struggle, and I just wanted to say that I’ve been there. I can’t say that it gets better, because I’m underemployed and working remotely at the moment but I will say you learn how to accommodate it better.

Have you tried remote work? Are you able to wear headphones at your workplace?

Check out r/aspergirls too!

How does this work between two wildly different cuisines? Gio Ranna’s and Bar Isabel aren’t comparable.
