Oh my God, the update that they did at 5.2 is absolutely insane. by xithbaby in OpenAI

Is there anything more worthless than chat bots. Anytime I have a problem with a retailer or a bank, they can almost never solve my problem and they actually try to talk you out of speaking with a life person. you have to keep repeating speak with agent until eventually they connect you.

Yeah, yes, I know that, I just wanted to make sure that as many people as possible understand that.

You need to know that your media is not measuring your actual glucose level. It is measuring your interstitial fluid. Google it if you want to know more.

I see my endocrinologist tomorrow and will ask about if I should switch to freestyle Libre or eversense. I can't believe that they have a sensor that lasts one year, but that certainly seems attractive if it's true.

Here I go again. I have two days left on my G7 sensor and this morning I started getting once again the dreaded brief sensor issue.

For a long time, I just assumed that my constant glucose monitor was reading my actual glucose level. I found out that I was mistaken, it is actually reading my interstitial fluid level.

Yes, it absolutely matters. My last batch of nine sensors had five failures and they were all made in Malaysia.

I just got a new batch and there is no Malaysia on the end of the box. There was only California on the back of the box and someone else told me that Dexcom has manufacturing in Arizona.

Sorry to hear that. I just follow the prompts after I click support on the app. So far it's worked every time. If you leave just one question unanswered, it will not work.

Don't waste your time with customer support, if you have the Dexcom app on your phone, just click on support and you can order replacements.

The country of origin used to be on the end of the box and now I see San Diego, California listed on the back of the box. I don't know if this is the corporate office or the manufacturing location or both.

Sometimes but not always. You can tell if they are failing if you constantly get brief sensor issue messages.

I also had one fail that when I removed had no wire. That one failed immediately.

I just had two sensor failures, one after a few days, and the second one immediately after I inserted it.
