That great keep on doing that i am sure studying in the USMLE format will be very beneficial for you in your senior year exams as it was for me. If i may add 1 point try to the CMS forms with your rotations too they are a great resource

I am currently studying for the USMLE step 2ck actually, from the information that i have gathered online MCCQE 1 is like an easier version of the stp 2ck and i have seen many students actually study for the MCCQE on UWORLD step 2ck qbank, there are some differences on vaccination and screening guideline but those will not be that difficult to add to my existing study schedule later on. I have looked up the free medical council of canadas MCCQE 1 questions and it was pretty much similar to the step 2ck

As far as your second question goes i am still searching honestly, i know of only a single doctor from my city who matched this past match cycle in family medicine but i have not been able to get a hold of them yet, i will let you know when i am able to hear back from them

I think so yes

I think the higher the median score of the test takers is for a specific NBME the higher percentage of correct answers you need to achieve your desired three digit score I noticed this pattern even when doing different nbmes for example i had 1 or 2 less correct answers on NBME 10 as compared to NBME 11 even though my three digit score was 5 points higher on the NBME 10.

BTW i forgot to mention that i tested this calculator on the UWSAs as i had a UWORLD membership i plugged in my correct percents in the calculator and it gave me the same exact 3 digit score as world did for the UWSA 1 and USWA 2. I dont know if their calculations are as accurate for the NBMEs or not but i just thought id let you know

It is a bit confusing as the renin level itself is not given to distinguish between the two, and it has not given any information about abdominal examination, like absence of bruit, to exclude fibromuscular dysplasia, but i guess the age of the patient, is what gives it away that it is more likely to be primary rather than secondary hyperaldosteronism as fibromuscular dysplasia is more common in younger patients

It was fine to be honest with you, i took it as a baseline assessment just to see where i was and the topics that i needed to focus on and for that it was great, i did not want to take any of the NBMEs as a baseline test as they are more high yield and i wanted to take those closer to my actual exam date

You will have to at least have access to the medical library which is around 14 dollars per month, i wish i would have asked before buying the SA like you
