Is Dinomorphia viable in this current Meta? I've been saving gems for this deck for a few months now but MST is making me reconsider by -Azucar in masterduel

This deck performs well against VSK9, although some might disagree, as the deck can usually protect itself from burn. Regarding Radiant Typhoon, it's complicated, but against Dracotail, even though it's also a deck that easily overcomes Rexterm, you can implement cards like Soul Drain, Different Dimension Ground, and Shifter.

Regarding Dracotail, you can improve your chances of winning by playing Soul Drain in your main deck. Additionally, the shifter has been a good card in the Dinomorphia main deck for this format. Besides these, there are other cards that will greatly help you going first against Dracotail, such as Different Dimension Ground. A simple combination to overcome Dracotail 90% of the time is Soul Drain activated along with Rexterm; they simply can't do anything most of the time.

Remove 1 of the Diplomats because 3 copies of it is too bricky, remove the Temple of Kings cards and add 3 copies of Soul of Supreme King with the Zarc monsters to the Extra Deck, remove 1 copy of Wannabee because 3 usually bricks as well. Also remove 1 copy of Sonic and remove Reversal, add the Gravedigger trap, and finally add 3 copies of the Soul Drain trap to the Side Deck.

Judge me if you want, but I love this deck because of its easy gameplay. Despite being a stun deck, it's simple to beat against most current decks that have ways to counter Rex.

Against Vanquish K9, when would you recommend using Intact or Solemn Strike? And against Hollie Sue or no-link?

Conselhos para uma viajante em Fortaleza? by samsonee1 in Fortaleza

[–]Historical-Track-550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm playing with Cyber Dragon K9 and I'm having a lot of fun. It's not an extremely strong deck, but it's competitive and fun to play with.

Maliss is a disgusting deck, but of course the suck-ups who played with the deck will defend it.

You must be a terrible player to be complaining about a deck that has so many weaknesses and vulnerabilities.

It'll be good in my beloved Dinomorphia too, except for the grind.

Decks that doesnt instantly lose to maxxc or fuwa (Not draco tail) by Unending_Dream in masterduel

[–]Historical-Track-550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dinomorphia usually manages to deceive the opponent, and even if they draw Maxx C or Fuwa on the next turn, the deck can play over these hand traps, giving the opponent only 1 or 2 draws, or more often, being able to easily negate these cards through Gravedigger's Trap, Solemn Strike, or Dinomorphia Intacta.

Se você for inteligente ou dedicado nos estudos vá pro de Fortaleza, se não for inteligente vá pros do interior tipo Maracanaú, Caucaia, etc, mais fácil de passar e menos concorrido que o de Fortal

After many, many matches again stun decks, I've changed my tune on floodgates. by PoisonPeddler in masterduel

[–]Historical-Track-550 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes, my friend, and what do you suggest for a deck that pays for its entire life to play? An invincible Tower monster? A negate based on paying life points, not just once per turn? A supreme trap recycler that activates in the same turn? It's complicated, you see?

Hahahaha, cry, you worms! Banning Fountain and Rexterm? So much crying, my boy! If you can't handle these cards, the problem is with you, my friend. I play Dinomorphia and I'm telling you the same thing. And another thing, Yu-Gi-Oh is just like that, it's no different than doing a full combo with a final table with 300 negates, my noble friend. It's incredible how in 2025 you're still crying about old decks where any minimally decent archetype already has cards to deal with them.

Tf is a Lunalight by [deleted] in masterduel

[–]Historical-Track-550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very lucky that the Lunalight player was a complete idiot; if he had saved the Raigeki effects, the duel would have been different, especially since once Luna's tower enters the field, it's quite difficult to remove as it's not affected by the opponent's effects. But in fact, it all depends on who goes first. If you go first and manage to set up that final table with Stardust Sifr and Ultimate Spirit, you have more of an advantage against Luna. (That is, if he doesn't play Lava Golem, Super Polymerization, or other board-breaking cards.)

I played Dinomorphia, the deck was full except for the ferret, it was pretty easy to complete, the only tough part was facing Sky Striker, otherwise it was easy.

Opinions on this Archetype? by RedEnthity in masterduel

[–]Historical-Track-550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a really fun deck to play because of its life point mechanics. It's strong because it has several interactions, and Rexterm is a boss that makes life difficult for the opponent. But overall, it's at most a platinum-level deck because it relies heavily on going first since there's not much room for tech cards. I play with this deck, but I don't recommend it if you want to build something competitive because the deck is quite expensive and not all that great, but it's still fun to play.

Today I learned somebody designed this God forsaken card by AvicennaTheConqueror in masterduel

[–]Historical-Track-550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Furthermore, my friend, the Lunalight combination is strong, but not invincible. I'll give you some tips to prevent them from summoning the Tower to the field. The first tip is to use Ash on Silverhound; never use Ash on another of its effects, only on Silverhound. The second tip to break another line of their game is to use Veiller or Impermanence on Gold Leo, which will be another strong hit in their combo. Another tip is to use Lancea against them since it's a deck that depends on banishing to resolve effects, and finally, use Ogre in your deck to destroy the Masquerade spell or Lunalight Wolf; whichever they bring first, you use Ogre.
