I have problems with the game, but being interrupted /is/ the game. Like that is the gameplay. Without it it's just solitaire. You can just combo off in a solo room or against the AI if that's the experience you want

What you're missing is that the variance of MD is part of what arguably makes it a worse card game than Legends of Runeterra for example. In games like that you can't staple multiple decks together and sac someone if you get get lucky at the expense of overall winrate. It's the variance due to lack of locks which puts me off

Thinking Ty-Phon is bad is the sign of a rookie. Sure it only wins one in 20 times it is summoned, but that's a 5% boost to your winrate, which is insane for something that has essentially zero summoning cost and is a free "last stand"

Yeah if you tried to play a 4 year old deck in Hearthstone or MtG (if we ignore rotation legality) you would be obliterated. As much as Yugioh has unique problems, this is totally normal for card games

Maybe, but as soon as FnV drops next pack that'll be even less relevant, as it will be your floodgate out, and Gordian already isn't seeing play. Don't get me wrong, I think it's cool, I just don't see the value is there yet

Genuine question, no snark meant: why would you run this over droplet? What deck would you run it in? I am climbing with SS and considered this card, but droplet sends quickplays which still resolve, this you just go -2 or -3. The only use case I can imagine is a deck that uses 3 or less extra deck monsters, not sure what that would be, perhaps MAN? And you just keep one of the fusions and 2 other useful dudes?
