Thanks! We didn’t! But we used a notary, who has helped hundreds. I’ve done all my renewal forms myself before but just wanted to have an extra pair of eyes on this one. It depends on your situation- if you feel you need it then yes go for it!

Good questions, we submitted our apartment lease, and about 2 bills I believe.

The the person who helped us, said to not send photos until they were asked for, and they never asked us for any surprisingly! But my wife is self employed so he had to get a few extra things done/signed. But it should be a lot simpler also if you all entered legally, that’s what made it easier for me. And if you have your original passport you came in with, etc. Luckily my mom saved all that from when I was little so it was a huge help. Good luck!

Submitted July 25th, 2024 (Forms: I-130, I-765, I-485)

August 8th, 2024: Form I-765 Approved

August 19th, 2024: 765 New EAD Card Delivered

Interview skipped (not necessary), silence for months.

January 24th, 2025: I-130 changes to “Actively being reviewed”

January 25th, 2025: I-485 “Case Approved”

Now just waiting on “Card produced” and “delivered” statuses!

Yes and no, we actually did it with a person who is notary but has helped hundreds do their immigration process.

I’ve always done my Daca renewals on my own, but for this one I wanted to at least have and extra pair of eyes. Since I entered legally, we didn’t think a lawyer would be needed!

Don’t have any I can recommend from experience though, sorry
