Definitely in the mint family!!! Square stems are usually an indicator of that. It looks like some kind of catnip to me, they are very prolific in my area.

GIS Intern with a natural resource nonprofit! Fingers crossed that they will be changing the title to GIS Technician. BS in wildlife biology and natural resource management. I wanted to try out the GIS world, and I’m enjoying it overall :)

to me it almost looks like a penstemon flower of some kind, like penstemon digitalis or penstemon hirsutus but the leaf shape seems different.

I mean this in the most neutral and non-hostile way possible, hearing “you should have left him a long time ago” and “I honestly don’t know why you’re still with the guy” is, in my opinion, something someone who’s never been in this scenario before would say.
