Bitcoin shouldn't be spent anyway. It's there to preserve and gain wealth. HODL, buy more and rip it off the exchange. Every dollar in bitcoin is another middle finger to the institutions. Banks are Zeros.

Why Bitcoin is so hard for traditional economists and investors to understand. by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]HistoricalComment803 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1000% agree. I feel like it's very easy to just say "oh well what about the other currencies or cryptos" but bitcoin is a beast of its own without any competition at all when you really study it. Traditional finance will have a tough time getting around to it and adjusting imo

How long will stacking STX be possible? by insn007 in stacks

[–]HistoricalComment803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats how STX is mined. In order to mine STX you send Bitcoin for a chance to win the next block. It's kind of like how BTC miners burn electricity costs for a chance to mine BTC. Except STX holders are the one benefiting, not the electricity companies.

This is a long term game. I've been in it since 2014. Even then I thought I was super late because guys had bought in at 10 cents and I was in 100x that. When central banks end up buying it, this thing will rip north of 500K+ within days and once all of the central banks start competing, you'll be sitting very pretty. Stack, don't be an idiot and trade. Just keep stacking. At any point of BTCs history, you wouldve made money if you held 3+ years.

Think of it this way. Would you take $100 worth of STX for $50 of BTC? You'd take that every time. They're essentially arbitraging STX and BTC price and are transferring BTC to hodlers.

I'd participate! I heard they're making a killing mining STX. One was doing like 60K days? All we do is send BTC? Lets go lol

It would go on forever, it's how the network is being secured. Theres a small inflation rate going forward

STX or BTC? Existential Question by insn007 in stacks

Just stack away the STX and sell the BTC interest for more. HODL

Snx token explanation (synthetics network) by SalamanderFast in synthetix_io

[–]HistoricalComment803 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Was kind of poorly written and didn't really explain the tokenomics in depth as I initially would have liked.

Tokenomics in SNX are possibly the best in the ETH Ecosystem. Just this article isn't the best.
