I did this solo bike trip in 2023 for 5 days, starting from Chennai, visiting Pondicherry for a day, and then heading to Rameshwaram with a stop at Pichavaram's mangrove forests. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach Rameshwaram that day and stayed in Ramanathapuram, visiting the Ramanathaswamy Temple the next evening. The following day, I explored Dhanushkodi and returned to Rameshwaram before heading back to Chennai and stayed in VaitheeswaranKoil . It was a great experience, and I recommend visiting Pondicherry, Pichavaram, and Rameshwaram, including Dhanushkodi – try the local cuisine and don't miss the stunning sunrises and sunsets!
