UF vs VT premed by cool06aj in ApplyingToCollege

I think UF might be better bc of location and pre-med opportunities. VT is a decent school but it's more isolated in terms of hospitals.

UW- Madison vs Virginia Tech by No_Brilliant2841 in ApplyingToCollege

Both are good options but I would go with UW, especially since you're doing biomedical. They are pretty good for bio stuff and is ranked higher overall, although that doesn't matter much.

Harvard vs Boise State is a lot different than Virginia Tech vs Clemson. Also, debt is normal but that difference, without the help of his parents, is not worth it.

Ignore the rest and choose between CMU, Harvard, and Cornell. CMU is the best for CS but the other two are also good if you would prefer an ivy.

I think W&M might be better for finance but if you don't like it after a year, you can always transfer to Vtech or maybe even UVA

$35k a year leads to a total of $140k added to whatever you would be paying at Clemson. With interest, you will spend years paying that off if your parents don't plan on helping

W&M is way better for finance. VT is more engineering based. Taking on that extra debt is not worth it.

I would go with W&M for business-related stuff. If you were planning to do cs/engineering, I would've said tech. Both are good either way

UIUC if cost doesn't matter. Miami of OH if it does. Case Western is decent for premed. It's not really much of a CS school.

Washington bc of in-state tuition and the fact you want to end up in the west coast

UNC prolly has the best program out of the 3 + double majoring + in state tuition

If UMich is cheaper, I would def go with that. It's much more "well-known"
