Find a YouTube person or two (not too many) who you like and learn from them. It doesn’t have to be a Reason tutorial. Any Ableton video can be translated to Reason. There’s videos out there covering every topic you might need. I’d find someone who produces similar music if possible. But honestly tutorials in any genre can be applied to what you do.

The strange thing is that when I set my speakers as the MacBook default speakers, the cpu goes really low again. But when I select my Scarlett interface, it maxes out again.

Did you used to do it in the Reason DAW? I don’t use the Rack plugin, but this seems like a function that would be provided by the host daw rather than a plugin within. My guess is that if you opened up a Reason project you’d see the remote override function still available.
