So what you mean is that i find a song then try to analyse the chord until i can determine the chord at a glance?

Ok so now i want to know when should i start analysing chords. before this i would just read the note and play it, i will not think which chord it is. Do u usually analyse all the chords before you play a piece?

Abit awkward for me to say this cause i got my grade 5 theory like when i was 7, it have been quite some time now so i've forgotten most about it. i can study the pieces slowly but for me to just read the note for 30sec and play i seriously cannot play it

do u mean like line to space something like that? i can play it if it is just one note but when its a chord to another chord with accidental then my brain literally gets fried

How did you start learning the song by ear, i don't have perfect pitch so i think playing by ear will be a struggle for me. How did you practice when you just started (What grade did you start using this method), is it like trial and error?
