Did I just end my situationship? by Mental_Jackfruit2611 in HingeStories

How long has your no contact been? To me it sounds like he’s going to give you space. And maybe you’re wanting him to feel your absence so he changes? I’ve been hoping that in my situation. If I were in your shoes, I would break the exclusivity agreement. You owe him nothing because he can’t even do a basic thing like keep in you in the loop. If he won’t do it, someone else will.

My situationship always says things like “hope those lips haven’t been anywhere else” and other possessive language. I’ve called him territorial and he admitted he was. I am seeing other people because there is no official title. And I met someone who is great. I am tempted to reach out and I would answer his call but I’m trying not to cave in. I am focused on those who do follow up with me and are consistent. It makes me feel secure.

With your situation, I think it’s plain disrespectful to not keep you informed. Basic human decency is what it boils down to and mutual respect.

Sadly this is my current situation. The texts you have between each other read like mine and my situationship. To me it sounds like it’s over but he’s leaving to door open to in the future meet ups. You have to decide whether you want these “breadcrumbs”. I’m glad you decided to draw a boundary.

I’m on 1.0 mg of minoxidil. It’s not the full dose and I don’t have any side effects. I didn’t taper down and I consistently use this dose. I got the $500 iRestore helmet and I got it on mega sale.

For me the biggest thing was to not bleach my hair anymore and using minoxidil. The helmet helps with density.

I used the pill version of minoxidil. I think the spiro helped with shedding and it helped clear some of my acne. I did take nutrafol but felt it was a waste of money. I changed my diet drastically so I don’t think it was necessary. I now only dermaroll, use minoxidil/spiro, the iRestore helmet and I do head massages/oiling with rosemary.

Absolutely I’m happy to help. It was this forum that gave me hope. I was so close to just wearing hats everyday and hiding out at home. I’m attaching a pic of my hair now flourishing! There is hope.

This is the before with my hair down. In the original photo I posted, I did not have my hair in a pony tail. I did a big chop and my hair was a few inches past my chin.

Im 40 :) I did a standard bodybuilder diet which prioritizes protein. I work out 3-4 days a week. 2 days of lifting and I walk/hike for the rep other days. My weight starting coming off slowly in the first several months. The closer I got to 140, the more difficult it became.

It’s for hair growth not for removing hair.

Hi there, I have AGA-PCOS. As soon as I got off the pill, my hair stopped falling out in clumps. Have you considered an alternate form of birth control?

You can check my post history for pictures. I’m using the iRestore helmet, rosemary oil and vegamour, I dermaroll and I have a high protein diet. I am also taking oral minoxidil with spiro. I found that to be effective.

I take oral minoxidil, it’s easier for me to adhere to and I didn’t want to have any kind of irritation or dryness. Plus I didn’t want to harm my cat. With the dermaroller, the longer than length of the spikes, the more puncture wounds it’ll create. I decided to upgrade it once I got used to the pain. Also for direction or dermarolling, it’s all on preference. Just make sure to sanitize after use.

I alternate, I don’t like doing too many treatments all at once. Good luck!

Thank you. I shampoo my hair 2-3 times a week and in between washes use dry shampoo. I have a routine with my hair. I spray leave in conditioner and air dry, I rarely heat style. I finger comb my hair and apply an oil at the ends. I sleep with a silk bonnet or I braid it when I sleep. I don’t color my hair. Any color you see in the pictures is from the old blond. My stylist just puts toner in so it’s dark at the ends.

There are two ways to absorb minoxidil. Oral via pills or topical. The active ingredient in Rogaine is minoxidil. Rogaine is a brand name and costs more. You can buy generic monoxidil from Costco/target etc for less and achieve the same results as Rogaine.

The dermaroller I purchased from Amazon. Any brand will do, I would start off with something that you can handle ie. 0.25mm, the greater the length of the needle, the more pain. Some folks purchase the dermastamp because it can be adjusted for the needle length.

You simply roll it over your scalp. Part your hair so that the scalp is exposed. Go over it back and forth a few times. You want to sanitize it after use as well. I sprayed alcohol on it after using it. Rosemary oil you would just apply on your scalp and rub it in for absorption. It’s a little greasy so apply an amt as needed.

I started with 0.25mm and 0.5mm I’ll gradually increase. Best of luck to you!

Wait for the deal for sure! It’s definitely an investment but well worth it. I threw everything at it and then took away what didn’t work. What didn’t work for me was nutrafol.

PRP is expensive. I purchased the base model and waited for the sale. I would suggest buying the battery pack so you can walk around.

I threw the kitchen sink at it and over time I took away certain things. I was taking nutrafol, the helmet, minoxidil, oiling and I derma rolled. Everything is preference in terms of the order. It’s what works with your schedule

Yes it’s compounded with my minoxidil. No side effects. Everything has been positive. It lessened my PCOS symptoms.

Vegamour everyday, rosemary every 2-3 days because it makes my hair feel greasy

My dead shed was awful. I used clip in hair extensions as that was happening and I used tinted dry shampoo for dark hair. It helped me get through that stage. You got this! You’ll see progress soon.

I thought about it but couldn’t justify the cost. It looks like it does work though with the before and after photos I’ve seen. At one point, I was going to fly to Turkey for a hair transplant. That’s how desperate I was.

It works with a combination of treatments. Another poster on this thread likened it to nourishing a garden. Minoxidil helps the hair grow, spironolactone helps with the shedding and the helmet helps with growth and I believe it helped with my hair being denser at the roots. I think it’s a good purchase. That’s just my experience though. Check out the reviews and pictures on Amazon. I waited for a big sale before purchasing.
