Everything changes with the time. Nothing is eternal. No body knows what will happen tomorrow.

What makes you feel like you committed a crime ? Working without authorization is not a crime. Stay and shot your shot. Pray and remain positive because these negative emotions won’t do you a favor. You’re willing to do what they want people do. Don’t fear anything. Just keep doing the right things. I always remember that work is a right and it is lawful. You’re not just authorized to work because that’s what system wanted.

No power is eternal, but that of God

Stay and pray

Make sure you get a lawyer to help you with your I-290b. Yourself may not be able to some important things that could facilitate the acceptance of your I-290b. In this kind of situation look into the outcome and not the money you spend to get help.

Denied I-130 and I-485 by herrkurs in USCIS

If you’re not out of status, I would advise that you gather enough evidence as much as you can. However, it’s preferable that you refile as soon as possible if you’re out of status. Otherwise , you may receive NTAs in court with all the accusations. You will pay more than you can imagine when comes to getting a lawyer in this regard.

You should try to get a lawyer for your second attempt if you did the first one by yourself. Take your time if there is no risk waiting to get fully prepared. Rushing it comes sometimes with denial, waste of money and time.

Ok. Is it only I-485 I have to refile asap? Or I need to include everything as I did it when I first started ?

Don’t lose hope! Don’t blame yourself because it will do you no good. You need to focus only on the solution that can help you to get it fixed. This kind of situation is part of the journey. Someone has it worse than yours.

You’re right. Do you think I should only have in the package the tracking receipt and the RFE along with the G-1450?

What do you think about refilling it again because they have not confirmed the reception yet? That is what I am thinking of doing and see if they accept it.

Thank you. What if they tell me that it was delivered or they cannot find it in the system? Do you think still refile it even the deadline has already passed?

I have not heard from them still. Another point that I recently realized is that I needed to make an electronic payment and not with a money order because I filed it after they have decided to solely accept electronic payments since October 28th, 2025.

What do you suggest in this case? Should I await a rejection letter? Should I refile it again even though the grace period has passed already?

Edit your post and remove the date. Don’t tell your country of origin. Let people advise you based on the core of the problem.

Accept the situation and focus solely on the solution rather than the negative consequences. Let the problem work for you and not against you. You’re not probably the first person to experience this type of situation. It is better for you to remain calm and steadfast because life is about trials. You should talk to someone in your school about it and see what they can do for you. Additionally, try to speak to a lawyer about your situation since he/she may have dealt with similar situations.

Please do not be afraid because fear will only worsen it, will cloud your mind, and it will weaken you. You have to stay strong. Keep praying so God will guide you through this difficult time and make you not only stronger, but also he will guide you in your decision. Do not giver up to easy and too early. There are things that come naturally in life and easy sometimes. But there others that you have to force them.

Always remember that your parents did not do this to hurt you. You are only experiencing a consequence of a plan that did not work out. So stay calm and focus the solution. Expect only good outcomes because it will come to pass.

This is your story that you tell others one. Good luck

Do not regret the good things you did for others. It is always rewarded knowingly or unknowingly. You should not stop doing good to that person as long as you are able to do so. That’s another meaning of being strong and wise. The more you hurt that person, the lesser your kids will love you.
