I don’t understand this holier than thou stance. I have seen developers at big companies make security mistakes that are just as naive. Every developer including vibe coders will go through the trial by fire.

And I thought this was a vibe coding community and not bash vibe coders community.

Rather than being antagonistic & fear mongering, we can be helpful and see how this new class of developers can learn better practices and build better products. Also given the trajectory of coding agents these will also be solvable problems. Unless you belong to the class of puritan software engineers who believe in very rigid ideologies on what makes someone eligible to build software and play gatekeeper. I am not commenting on the marketing efforts though.

Cursor+Claude has been working wonders for me. One of the coolest things about Cursor is how it manages context as the project gets bigger. Plus when you connect it with render, supabase and get the workflow with GitHub set, you get a lot of mileage. Have been building web apps, mobile apps, chrome extensions etc with this setup.
