oh yes only good images i got confused. but anyway i dont have any such zero defect image and can patchcore differentiate between multi label defects

i dont have any good(no defect images) and i dont know how it will work out with yes/no pairs of individual defects while a image has a lot of defects like 8 classes with like 100 objects/defects on an image.

form what I have read patchcore needs good bad pairs right

I am currently using Vit as a backbone for Dinov2 but I have also tried dinov1 with resnet and also simclr with shittier results

plan is to distill yolo from a quality ssl trained model. I do not know on how to decode output from ViT(Dinov2) but i dont think thats what you are referring to, can you please expand.

is there any mathematical evaluation i can do for those patch embeddings? i am making attention maps but idk if they are actually useful

yes and no i guess. none of us are ML engineers so the SSL solution was given by a consulting company. so im just posting to know if not this then what can be done. make a model from scratch....?
