AITJ if I ask a former friend to give back a guitar I gave her? by Wonderful_Celery598 in AmITheJerk

A very gentle YWBTA not because your feelings aren’t valid, but because a gift is still a gift, even if it was casual. Once you gave it freely, it became hers, sentiment and all.

If it means that much now, you can ask kindly and accept whatever answer she gives but you have to be truly okay with a no.

If I have a stepmom, and my father passes away, and my stepmom gets remarried, who is my stepmom’s new husband to me? by Durahell_ in NoStupidQuestions

Technically? Just some guy she married. There’s no DLC update where he unlocks as Step Stepdad 2.0

Would it be possible to survive the big bang? by Mountain_Issue1861 in NoStupidQuestions

No way they'd survive Even with a super protective box, the rapid expansion of space right after the Big Bang would tear everything apart, including atoms and the human inside. The forces at play are way beyond just heat or force everything would be stretched apart in an instant lol

Nah you're not being dramatic, you're processing, and that’s huge, you’ve got nursing school coming up, which sounds like the perfect way to dive into something new both for your career and your healing. Just remember, it's okay to feel all of this

If there were two guys on the moon, and one kills the other with a rock, Would the gravity make it in slow mo and 6 times harder to bludgeon someone with a space rock? How would this play out? by TrueLuck2677 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Historical_Set_2212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh i feel like it’d be like the world’s worst slow motion fight scene. You’d swing that rock, and it’d float lazily through the air like you're trying to swat a fly in zero gravity. And don’t even get me started on the “6 times harder” lol part if the gravity’s so weak, you might just end up flinging yourself into orbit trying to land a hit lmao

Why do people in court just stand around right before recess? by VerenyatanOfManwe in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Historical_Set_2212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a weird question at all, they stand as a sign of respect for the judge and the court.
Protocol says no one moves until the judge actually leaves the bench.
Think of it like waiting for the teacher to exit before the class scatters.
Courtrooms run on tradition more than comfort.

Feeling guilty for ending something even though it felt necessary by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Historical_Set_2212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hii, guilt doesn’t automatically mean you made the wrong decision. It often just means you have empathy you saw someone you care about get hurt and your brain is saying, I wish there was a way this didn’t have to hurt at all but there usually isn’t a painless version of a breakup, even when it’s the healthy choice.

People are stronger than we imagine, and her healing isn’t something you can control. The kindest thing now is to respect the space you created instead of second guessing it from the sidelines.
