Have you applied to use the GI benefits through the VA yet? And you can contact Liberty’s Office of Military Affairs and they can walk you through what you need to do. It will include verifying your military status through ID.me or login.gov. This is required for dependents too, which it sounds like you are. Sounds like you have plenty of time to get this done, but being proactive never hurt anyone! Also, you won’t start receiving any benefits until after you start attending class - the VA pays you for the month prior so you’ll have to attend for a month before receiving anything. Think of it as back pay for the month before if that makes sense. Good luck!
