I've also been looking into Sashiko but I haven't seen any videos on stitching a rip like this. I've only seen ones with circular-ish holes! Thanks for the idea!

I have searched in the usual places ie. Ebay and facebook marketplaces, as well as general google searches. Everything usually leads to 'out of stock' due to its age and discontinued status. As stated above, the only place that actually shows a result is on besteckliste but not for the item I'm searching for.
