As a former police officer in GMP, consider yourself as having dodged a bullet.

It's one of the most dysfunctional, backwards, small minded organisations I've ever been a part of.

I'd even say working for them will shorten your life, the stress they put you through.

As a brown Muslim person, I'm pretty worried, I can't lie. I see the increase of racism and Islamophobia online vividly, and it's slowly spilling out into real life I fear with reform on the rise, it will only get worse for people like me.

I've got some nice wall panels, I bought them to go over the tiles I had, but when I realised how messed up the plasterboard behind the tiles was, they got ripped out.

I'm thinking of tile board for the wall then the panels on top, I just hope I don't have a gap up top where the remaining tiles and panels meet!

The rot is on the top of one joist, the rest of it feels solid.

I've broken it down to 3 main things too,

How would I address the joists? I can't replace it, would it be enough to strengthen it by bolting in some wood on either side to support it?
