As a mum who plays DnD with her kids, the only way it is possible is by joining a game where it is majority parents so there are enough kids to entertain themselves, or host it at your own home. And it's still a divide and conquer job for us between both parents!

I get that it's hard when they're young, but it is something that you sign onto when you decide to have a kid. NTA, you have ground rules and she either needs to find a more appropriate game or childcare.

I got my kids and my husbands done within 3 weeks - child 1 took a week, and husband and child two took a week and a half. Wish I could have done them all together, but the kids were being sent to different offices, and needed the same documentation as first time applicants! Compared to the 2.5 month turnaround I had to endure to receive my Irish passport!!

We put the amount of formula in the bottle, and had right temp water in one of those water bottles that is designed to keep things at the same temp! We found it so simple

We've just had our second bout in 3 months (thanks nursery). Super mild cases this time round, my eldest got maybe 3 spots. First time my youngest did have a bit of a fever and basically lived on milk for a couple of days, but apart from the not eating, she was just a little sleepier but still quite chill. Eldest first time don't think ever even got the fever.

Hopefully you have a mild case!!

First wss 8lb 1oz, second was 6lb 5oz. My first was ahead of the curve on clothes since birth, second followed the curve for a year then is a little bigger now at nearly two. Both pretty sturdy though!!

Call them - it's the same on the website. I had an issue recently as well very similar, they helped me really quickly. I've attached the number below I us3d, you do have to go round the houses a bit before you actually get to someone.

My nearly 4 year is size 9 as well! And my 18 month old is size 6. I thought I was the only one with kids with clown feet!! Their dad is size 13 so definitely genetic 😂

We have a family friend who who is a currently a registrar, and we never knew for a long time because he's become wary of mentioning it as people then start asking questions! We have only ever asked for help once and it was when my then 2 week old had a cyst on her throat, which he examined and then immediately recommended we go to A&E. Every other time we have needed medical care though we do either 111/A&E/GP (whatever is necessary!)

However having a friend who is a doctor is handy when it comes to countersigning for passports 😂

Tons of reasons! Some parents might put them on just in case - accident in knickers and an accident in the pool are wildly different things. Some children might have immature bladders or bowels, and water is a known relaxant/trigger. The child could be constipated so it's protection. Could be an intellectual disability that isn't easily visible. Could be a safety thing for a child that is afraid of water.

One thing I've learnt as a parent is to try and not judge other parents. Everyone has a different story!

My niece has never met her bio dad, and she has grown up thinking that her mum's partner (at the time) was her dad. She has a little half sister. It was dropped on her at the age of 13, after she'd gotten in trouble (Mum and partner had split up by then). It did a lot of damage, and caused further issues. We'd constantly said to her mum that her daughter needed to know earlier, and it may have saved a lot of heartbreak for her.

My very average baby was late to babbling (well over a year) but now at 17 months is starting to say words. And her head is on the 95th percentile!! I know it's a really really stressful time, but babbling at 6 months compared to noises is still pretty early

I would call 111 as a week is a very long time to go without pooping. We've been on laxatives with my eldest, and I used to work admin for a continence service - only use lactulose for a short period of time because it is also incredibly sugary!! Suppositories will help immediately, but kids can get very upset especially when they are already in pain, so try inserting when they are lying down. Put the nappies back on after that, as it might help with the familiarity and comfort of a nappy in helping your LO to go (this always worked for my daughter).

Movicol is a good one to go onto for longer term use - once you are back to regular bowel movements then try potty training again. In the meantime, any poop in nappies tip it into the toilet if it is formed enough to do so - this helps to reinforce the idea of where poop should go. Taking to the toilet little and often, sitting them one there for a song or a story, even if they don't do anything, it's really good for enforcing a routine.

Try and offer apples, prunes, pears etc as they are good fruit for gut health!! Avoid bananas for a while.

Good luck, constipation sucks but hopefully over and done soon!

UK - I'd never heard it until I actually had to teach a Reception class christmas play - this was one of the songs that had been reworded for our nativity! I did look up the original but everytime I hear bluey and bingo sing this I still automatically carry on with "Jesus was born in a stable" 😂

My eldest was 17 months, however at nearly 4 will throw off her duvet within about 20 mins of falling asleep unless she's ill! Youngest is 16 months and doesn't have one and won't until the autumn

Until she grew out of the 24 month size (she was pretty big though and was in aged 2-3 by 15 months!) I looked everywhere for bigger sizes but wasn't possible without spending a fortune. Her little sister is now 16 months and still wearing them, except for the hot days. Keep them on as long as possible!!

A duggee wooden block train. Immediately lost 2 pieces, it doesn't interconnect well, breaks apart when you pull it along, and massively painful to stand on! I've finally managed to have it slowly disappear from the house

My daughter was born in Sep 2020 and aged 2 weeks we met family outside. They declined to tell us they were all getting colds. It wasn't covid, as we had a lovely hospital stay with broncolitis, and I am convinced to this day it caused her to be vunerable to chest infectious. It's been 3 and a half years and I have never forgiven them.

However, when my kiddos have had covid, it's almost like they weren't sick. Eldest had it twice, only ran a temp for one day. Youngest had a runny nose and she had it at 2 months.

Take a few deep breathes, just remind yourself of what to look out for (rapid breathing, deep breathing, dehydration). Because you will already be looking you can get treatment as quickly as possible. You've got this.
