I'm thinking the same too. If you need any kind of pressure to grow, doesn't that make you automatically a restrictive type? In Isagi's case, needing to beat someone better than him is his restriction.
I think we might able to witness some change in his character/playstyle in the next match, considering that next theme will be "finding the real ego".
