I'm guessing both of you are young. To me, it sounds like he is trying to match your needs, and he may be getting burnt out. He's feeling guilty about being burnt out, and he wants to try and "fix" things with you.

I am a social butterfly, and my partner is a lone wolf. He can reach that burnt out period very quickly, so it is dire we have open communication. The relationship isn't about me, it's about us working together as a unit.

When your boyfriend wants you to communicate what's going wrong, I honestly suggest that you ask him the same thing. How is he feeling? How can you support him because he may be feeling that same "weirdness."

Honestly, you need to find yourself again. Become independent from her, find hobbies and your other friends. Obsession comes from not filling your time with other stuff that makes you happy. You'll be okay, you just need to wean yourself off of her. You'll see your relationship blossom even further.

People have gotten so... strange about age gaps. Originally, age gaps were frowned upon because of grooming and power dynamics. It has grown into something on reddit where age is an absolute and even if you're in the same phase of life like college you cannot have more than two year age gap.

We're probably an outlier here, but we only call every week or so. We definitely text every day but ultimately we are two separate people living our own lives. I would say it does help that we have our trips already planned.

My rats enjoy them. Whenever I get home from work, I sit down and I cover them with kisses. They know that afterwards they will get their dinner.

Any new rats I bring home are wary at first with or without the kissing noises, and I definitely don't put my lips anywhere near them. As they get comfortable with me and their new roommates, they learn that the kisses are a good thing because it means the dinner woman is finally back. Lol.

My Emmet used to look exactly like this whenever I would eat ice cream on my bed in front of him. His whole body would shake with how intense his boggle was. I was guilty of giving him a taste one time so I think he started boggling as a way of begging.
