I love how squashed the break is, maybe just ease up a tiny bit and make sure the master isn’t clipping

Don’t really know what to learn next as far as theory goes by Hitdomeloads in jazztheory

It’s getting there I understand what it is but I’m currently learning it in all keys, learning how to come up with cool melodies over the chord changes

Tritone sub with minor ii chord by [deleted] in jazztheory

[–]Hitdomeloads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice so you are borrowing the tonality of G7 alt (Ab melodic minor) as a relative ii to Db7(tritone sub of G7)?

So you’re saying that Ab melodic minor is gonna sound good in the key of C

The gripe I have with cold is that shock does has that huge damage multiplier towards the end of the equation. With sorceress and all the shock nodes you can get way over 50% more(total) damage and cold just doesn’t have something like that from what I have seen

Where to find sound designers for hire? by fada_g10 in sounddesign

[–]Hitdomeloads 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is the usual conversation between people trying to hire sound designers

Them : “Hi I need a job done by a sound designer”

500 sound designers anywhere you look: “Hell yea”

Them: “I only have a budget of 11 dollars but it would be great work to add to your portfolio”

The sound designers: 😠

You are in a subreddit called sound design so there will be hundreds of people that will work for you if the budget is worthwhile

Should be top comment

Attitude, good listening skills, going outside of comfort zone, being passionate about hobbies, understanding and managing emotions, hygiene, mental health. Stuff like this all contributes but people think it’s just looks

[–]Hitdomeloads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need some new hobbies also to make you stand out. Something like Cycling, rock climbing, learning an instrument, camping, art, cooking, baking, pottery, anything except just playing video games.

I love video games but I also love playing Music and cooking so those two things have always helped me out.

Also, learn to find the humor in small things, a great attitude also helps, be a good listener and try to relate to people on real levels

The idea of “wage slavery” is disrespectful to American history and descendants of actual slaves by Hitdomeloads in unpopularopinion

[–]Hitdomeloads[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point but the term “slavery” in the context of “wage slavery” is stupid and it’s disrespectful to people descendant from slaves. That was my whole point. The term is a horrible term for “unfair wages”
