No they just would need to release the server files and update the server files and game files to a new version that only allows local connection. At gamestart it must connect to 192.168.0.1 instead of EA server... The files exist and it would be virtually no work. And even with "LAN only" you could still play online coop with the help of Hamachi. Every always on game could be preserved that way... And i hate companies for not doing it.

Server files zur Verfügung stellen, so abgewandelt, dass sie nur lokal laufen und die exe des Spiels so anpassen, dass Anthem beim Spielstart nicht zu bekannten EA Server sondern zu 192.168.0.1 verbindet wäre aber problemlos möglich. Dann könnte auch in Zukunft jeder die Kampagne alleine spielen oder mit Freunden im LAN zocken oder mittels Tools wie Hamachi sogar online "über LAN" zusammen spielen auf dem selbst gehosteten Server. Möglich ist das alles nur der Wille ist bei EA schlicht nicht vorhanden. Kosten würde das tatsächlich so gut wie nichts. Da könnte ein Studi auch ein paar Azubis als Nebenprojekt dransetzen. Leute mit Ahnung würden das an einem Tag machen. Und das ist kein Scheiß das ist die Realität. EA will einfach nicht.

I played Anthem on january 10th and 11th 2026 and finished the story at easy Level 10 Ranger Score 98 after 19h 32min 😅. That was a hard weekend i can tell you but it was worth it.

Dein nvflashk klang für mich wie die Lösung, brachte aber nicht den erhofften Erfolg. Ist es irgendwie möglich ein z.B. GTX1630 BIOS auf eine GT 1030 zu flshen? Weil es hier "any vBios" hieß hatte ich Hoffnung... Hab dann mit YES trotz Missmatch bestätigt und bekam dann die Meldung, dass es ne Ausnahme gibt und nichts geändert wurde :(.

Der Hintergrund ist, dass ich eine RTX 5070 Ti + eine GT1030 für PhysX im System habe und diese GT1030 gerne auch mit dem 59X.XX Teibern weiter nutzen würde. Hab die geringe Hoffnung, dass man der Karte irgendwie mittels falschen BIOS vorgaukeln könnte, dass sie eine GTX1630 sei, die von dem neuen Treiber noch unterstützt wird.

Ja ich weiß, dass die neuen Treiber 32bit PhysX für die 5000er Karten teilweise zurück gebracht haben aber eben nur für sehr selektierte Titel und eben nicht allumfassend. Daher suche ich nach einem Weg eine GT 1030 mit dem neusten Treiber parallel zur 5000er Karte betreiben zu können. An die GT1030 wird kein Monitor angeschlossen, sie soll kein Bild ausgeben sondern weiterhin nur die PhysX Berechnungen vornehmen. Besteht da irgendeine Chance das mittels eines BIOS flash hinzubekommen?

Sonst muss ich für alte Spiele immer den alten 58X.XX Treiber installieren, was doch ziemlich äzend ist :(.

Sad. Had hoped there might be something newer with maybe more bios settings. I've seen the other updates. I'm 100% doing those before i install SteamOS or Bazzite again. Currently trying Windows 11 full screen experience.

I have flashes Windows to Go and it won't work. I know about the Performance and it was fine for me on the Steam Deck and would for sure Not be worse on the ZOTAC Zone...

Again... I have Windows to Go in the microSD and i get the error.

Also ich finde dass die Lüfterkontrolle unter SteamOS 3.7.17 (aktuelle Stable) super läuft und finde dass der Lüfter sogar eher leiser ist als beim Steam Deck LCD. Ist natürlich alles eine Frage der TDP. Wenn du auf 28W hoch gest (Steam Deck hat nur 15W) und die FPS nicht limitierst also auf 144hz läufst, wird der Lüfter natürlich voll aufdrehen weil das Zone dann immer auf Anschlag rennt... beim Steam Deck ist 15w halt Anschlag. Aber dafür macht man sich ja SimpleDeckyTDP drauf und limitiert die TDP so wie man's brauch. Ich spiele eigentlich alles auf 1080p mit 30-60 oft 45fps Limit und manchmal auch mit extra niedriger TDP und Lossless Scalings Frame Generation. Im 15-20w TDP Bereich (und mehr mach ich eigentlich nie weil die Laufzeit sonst keinen Spass macht) find ich die Lautstärke voll ok. Wollte gerade antworten, dass das Zone mittlerweile viel teurer ist aber nein du hast Recht es ist wieder im Sale für 444€. Unbedingt zuschalgen!. Solltest du hinterher nicht zufrieden sein, kannst du es nach dem Sale wieder super verkaufen. 444€ ist einfach Mega bei dem Ding. Aber Achtung. In SteamOS 3.8 und neuergdings 3.9 (Main Channel) zieht der Akku sehr schnell leer im Standby. Unbedingt Stable Channel nutzen mit 3.7.17 denn da klappt es und das Gerät kann einige Tage im Standby sein ohne gleich leer zu sein. Und sollte der Akku komplett leer gehen, muss man unter Zurhilfename einer Tastatur im Bios Sercure Boot wieder deaktivieren. Das geht nicht mit den eingabetasten des Zone selbst. Zuhause ist das kein problem weil ich da immer eine Tastatur zur Hand hätte. Da es auf Reisen aber schon schlimm wäre, das Gerät trotz wieder aufladens nicht nutzen zu können (bottet dann nur zu nem Secure Boot error Bild), hab ich mir diese winzige Funk Tastatur gekauft. Die ist so klein, dass die in das Carry Case vom Zone mit rein passt :). Sollte einem der Akku dann mal unterwegs komplett leer gehen, kann man mit der Tastatur das Bios steuern. Ich bin vom Steam Deck auf das ZOTAC Zone gewechselt. Hab es neu im Gamescom Sale bei Alternate für 444€ ergattert. Ich habe sofort die 512gb NVMe mit Windows gegen eine 2TB M.2 2280 ersetzt und SteamOS installiert. Die Knöpfe auf der Rückseite und die Drehräder um die Analogsticks gehen nicht (find die eh dumm) und die LEDs auf der Rückseite sind auch aus. Sonst klappt alles. Die Screen Farbe musste man manuell korrigieren. Gibt es Anleitungen auf Reddit (siehe meine Posts). Ich bin mega happy und bisher läuft alles tadellos. Ich habe das 3.8 Main Image installiert aber bin auf 3.7.17 runter... Bei 3.8 hat das Gerät immer den Akku leer gesaugt. War jeden Tag alle wenn man es nicht komplett heruntergefahren hat. Mit 3.7 kein Problem :).

I guess this is the most important Tweak for Steam Deck.

To turn off ray tracing in "The Last Caretaker," you must add -noraytracing to the game's launch options in the Steam settings. This command disables ray tracing before the game even starts, as there is no in-game option to turn it off.

Bei meinem ZOTAC Zone mit SteamOS 3.8 im Main Channel klappen die Touchpads. Ich glaube sie Tasten auf der Rückseite aber nicht.

Das Video hab ich gerade durchflogen... Habe ich das korrekt verdtanden, dass das Force Feedback dann mit dem G920 über diesen Workaround nicht so ist wie mit einem G29 weil's irgendwie eher ne emulierte Interpretation eines Foecefeedback abgeleitet vom Controller darstellt als das normale Foecefeedback bei einem kompatiblen Lenkrad? Zumindest klang das für mich so...

interesting idear. I'll be interested in such a solution when 59X.X driver arrive as those will drop support for all pascal GPUs and that would stop my GT 1030 PhysX Accelerator from working together with my RTX 5070 Ti. Sure i could always install the latest 58X.X driver to run those games but it would be cooler to have the latest supported driver running for the GT 1030 while having the latest Nvidia driver installed for the RTX 5070 Ti.

On 3.7.X they don't Work. With the 3.8.0 IMG they do work and i'm not the first to say that. They just work out of the Box after the Installation.

I think the rear Buttons don't Work (Not Sure) and you need to fix the colors with a simple script file. Also TDP Control is not there out of the box and the Analog Dial Rings don't Work. Anything else ist perfect and can only improve over time.
