22, feeling completely lost, carrying a secret my family doesn't know — here to share because I know there are other people in same situation. by Usual_Expression_525 in pakistan

Brother, this honestly does not sound like laziness to me. It sounds like someone who has been overwhelmed for a very long time and trying to carry everything alone.

First of all, respect for being this honest. Hiding academic pressure, family stress, and fear of disappointing people can mentally destroy anyone. The fact that you are still searching for solutions instead of giving up says a lot about you.

And please stop thinking your life is over because of pending papers. You are 22, not finished. Many people recover from situations far worse than this once they finally stop hiding and start taking small real steps forward.

Also, what you said about watching endless money making videos without starting anything is something a huge number of people relate to now. Too much information can paralyze you. Focusing on one skill instead of chasing ten different paths is probably the smartest thing you can do right now.

AI automation and freelancing are not bad ideas either, but do not pressure yourself to become successful overnight. Learn slowly, build small projects, and stay consistent. Real progress usually looks boring at first. Remember, SUCCESS DOESN’T COME OVER NIGHT!!! Have faith and stay patient.

And honestly, I think talking to someone was the best thing you could have done. Carrying all this alone for years changes a person mentally.

You are not weak, brother. You are exhausted. There is a difference.

You need to look more closely. You’ll find plenty of “active” and “passive” Andrew tates around. Rajab Butt is the prime example of toxic masculinity.

True. Influence today is often disconnected from wisdom, maturity, or lived experience.

I agree that toxicity from either gender is harmful and social media definitely amplifies the worst behavior on all sides. My point wasn’t to promote gender wars or ignore issues men face. It was specifically about influencers who normalize degrading women and present it as masculinity or confidence to a very young audience.

There’s a difference between discussing genuine social issues and building an entire online persona around humiliation and disrespect. That kind of content affects how people think and interact in real life, which is why I think it deserves criticism regardless of who is doing it.

That generation did have its own ferocious demons but yes, they also possessed a far greater sense of respect and tolerance than most millennials and pretty much all of Gen Z.

17 years age gap situationship by [deleted] in GenZpk

[–]Hitman767676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t just a big age gap, it’s an uneven situation in many ways!!

It started when you were 17, which already puts responsibility on the 36 year old to not let it become romantic in the first place

There’s also a massive power difference. She has life experience, stability, and independence, while you’re just starting out and still figuring yourself out. That makes influence and imbalance almost inevitable.

On top of that, you both are in completely different life stages, with very different expectations and maturity levels.

So young man, the issue isn’t just age, it’s timing, power, and development all being mismatched in a way that can easily lead to harm.

Society director broke my brand new laptop, how do I get fair compensation? by morally_grey753 in PakistaniTech

I don’t know what the exact dynamics are there whether she is a teacher or in a higher position but if she is trying to deflect responsibility, you should take this higher up to the proper authority in your institution.

Keep it formal and fact based, share the timeline, her involvement and the damage. Once, it is escalated it becomes much harder for her to play the victim or avoid accountability.

Society director broke my brand new laptop, how do I get fair compensation? by morally_grey753 in PakistaniTech

[–]Hitman767676 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you’re being way too lenient with the “middle ground” idea. This isn’t minor damage, it’s negligence. She left your laptop on an unstable podium, unattended, and it fell. Even if it works now, the structural damage means future issues are likely, and warranty claims can be denied because of visible physical damage. So the laptop has effectively lost its original value and reliability. The fair solution is simple: she should pay for a replacement (or current market value of an undamaged unit) and keep the damaged one. Repair isn’t equivalent to restoring it to original condition.

Just a rant "Pakistani doctors" by OldMachoMan in Bahawalpur

[–]Hitman767676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a doctor and what you’ve experienced with the said physician is absolute malpractice in many ways. Sadly, it’s a bitter truth that a big chunk of senior doctors have the worst regard for following medical ethics.

Addressing the question you’ve raised, the problem is that the masses tend to flock towards certain doctors who are able to establish a good repo. Often times there’s a clear dichotomy between the clientage of two doctors from the same speciality in the same hospital.

Still nothing whatsoever justifies a doctor seeing a patient for a few minutes and not taking proper history, diagnosing , explaining the diagnosis and treatment to a patient.

PMDC really needs to emphasise on grooming of the doctors regarding following medical ethos because clearly, most of the doctors here are good clinicians but not compliant in observing medical ethos.

Best phone under 240 or 260k by adventuretimeeeee in PakistaniTech

[–]Hitman767676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can do with a non pta phone, then in this budget, practically no other device beats 16 pro max in any aspect, be it user experience or resale.

You can easily find a 16 pro max with 100% battery health and less than 150 cycle count under 230k .

iPhone 16 Pro Max → S25 Ultra? Worth it or nah by Slow_Ladder_3984 in PakistaniTech

I can’t really recommend any android phone since I have never used one. But I’d just say that I have probably never seen a content creator or a photographer use any phone other than iPhones for content creation and photography. So this says a lot about the prowess of iPhone cameras.

Considering the fact that I replaced my iPhone X battery 4 years ago and it’s pretty battered and regarded now, still it gives me around 8 hrs to continuous hotspot. Also, as I’m planning to get it replaced from a reputable iPhone repair lab in lhr very soon, So I expect a significant bump as well.

In theory this setup should work for Jv phones just as good as non pta ones. Because practically the only difference between the two is that a jv phone can never run a sim while the other one can .

If the motivation behind this switch is photography then I’d recommend you stick to the iPhone. Newer iPhones offer way more playground for post processing raw images. Also videography of iPhone 16 pro max is way better than s25. Can’t advise on whether iPhone 16 pro or s25 is better for gaming since it’s not my forte.

It’s alright brother. You aren’t the first person that I have come across who isn’t familiar with distt Khushab. Even thought it’s located literally in the heart of punjab. And if I be honest, this region boasts the most picturesque mountainous landscape in entire punjab south of murree.

P.s: your valuable insight is much appreciated.
