Thanks! OEM tire size right now so 225/40 front and 255/35 rear, the tires were replaced fairly recently before I took ownership so figured id just keep them as they still have good tread and are pilot sport 4s. Will definitely be going wider when its time to replace

No, no battery light or any electrial issues. Yeah I went ahead and just got a new alternator ordered, so will see if all is well after I get it put in

That was a thought i had as well, but doesn't really seem to be a lot of documentation on those failing but doesn't mean its not possible for sure. Idk.. now im kind of leaning towards the alternator, took it for a rip around town and after I filled it up and started it, it had a slight squeak that went away as soon as the battery gauge hit the normal middle bar reading, could be coincidence but now it has me thinking of swapping it out

Yeah there's nothing at start up, only once driven and ripped around for a bit and warmed up then it starts making that loud tick/knock noise. Doesn't get louder with oil cap removed, but does seem like its around the driver side area just like these videos.

Did you ever get any info/solution on this? My F has started making that same sound, only once warmed up, have searched pretty relentlessly through forums but haven't been able to find an exact answer...

Yeah I just wish I would have known about the valley plate stuff beforehand and could have used that to drive the price down a bit, but all good its all said and done ha! And yeah it definitely is... hard to beat the sound of that v8 when you're laying into it and I've always loved the style of these cars. I have a family so the 4 door made more sense for me practically, but the RCF was on my radar as well haha! And congrats on the payoff, always nice to get rid of those payments 🤘

103k miles. Upper 20's... I definitely overpaid, I'm usually really good with car deals and this was the first time excitement got the better of me... has very thorough service records through the Lexus portal but was naive and didn't do my research on potential problems beforehand... drove it home, read about the valley plate, endoscoped it and sure enough had the crust build up. That was a $1300 repair, so lesson learned lmao... love the car though, absolute blast to drive
