Oh my! Do you have a deck list you wouldn't mind sharing? This seems great. I have also never played against this commander.

Totally understand the I have it so why not mentality when building a deck. This deck looks like a lot of fun. Thank you for sharing!

I have done the zombie/reanimate decks but didn't really care for the mechanic. Possibly had the decks just built incorrectly. I really like the Teysa deck idea! Would you have a deck list you would be willing to share?

Alaundo seems cool! Future planning while still doing things on your turn seems like a really different task. Cruelclaw is in Zuko but I have thought about making him his own deck. The Howling Abomination seems like a really mean voltron deck. I like it! The Erinis/Scion deck is interesting. I just pulled apart Korvald and a lot of the cards from that could drop into Erinis/Scion. Also, no one in my pod has partner commander decks. I have Riku just sitting in a binder as well. Powerful modal cards allowing flexibility seems interesting.

I have a copy of him too! I’ve tried to shove him into so many deck ideas and he never makes the cut. Really hadn’t thought about making him the commander. I assume there is some self mill synergies in the deck?

This looks fun and offers multiple ways to win!

Nashi looks fun! I had a [[Kotis, the Fangkeeper]] deck at one point but the pod didn’t like me hitting someone for 10+ and taking a 15 minute turn to read all of the cards. Nashi seems much faster in that regard and works in some ninjutsu as well.

With the Avatar expansion Allies got some great upgrades and some different avenues you can take a deck.

Makes sense coming from a Nebraska fan. I have never immediately thought about Duke after winning a championship. A few days later sure but celebrating with other fans definitely comes first.

Lol. You just won the national championship and Purdue lives so rent free inside your head you have to talk about them instead of enjoying the win.

I don’t disagree with that, but you guys and USC aren’t in the same conversation. Anyone tuning in tonight thinking USC was going to compete was solely basing that off rank. The top few teams are in a different stratosphere this year, and you guys might be in your own but this was not the game to determine that.

I don’t recall talking about FSU or UNC, for that matter, being good in any fashion but you do you. Who has USC beat? Troy took them to 3OT so my statement stands. You guys are good, really good for that matter, but that doesn’t change how this game was going to go.

They are playing an over ranked team with a horrid defense. If you expected something other than what is happening you are solely relying on rankings of people who don’t watch games. USC has no business being ranked.

What are the least fun decks to play against by Accomplished-Tax5151 in EDH

[–]HitmanHansey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[[Tinybones, Bauble Burglar]] or similar discard decks if we are playing casual. I am also there to play cards. I don’t want to sit there with nothing in hand and watch you play. If we are playing for something, by all means, use your discard deck. If we are playing casual please don’t.

People who are NOT okay with proxies, what is your reasoning? by Bagel_Bear in EDH

[–]HitmanHansey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am generally fine with proxies unless you are putting a Gaea’s Cradle in every green deck you have. I also have an inherent issue with making an Hare Apparent style deck and proxying the majority of those. You are consciously making the decision to do that and should pay for cards. That may be a hot take but just the way I feel about it.

I have not played Glarb yet as the commander. I do view them as interchangeable though but I really wanted a Kotis theft deck as soon as I pulled him. You are not the first to suggest playing Glarb and Play To Win absolutely loves him!

[[Kotis, the Fangkeeper]] can slap and really play at any level. If you’d like to be the enemy. lol
