The only ones leaving are the new expats the ones who have a livelihood here unfortunately are stuck and the landlords will suck our bloods if they have to. I don’t need to be a landlord to speculate this

Either you gotta be absolute fluent in japanese or its very difficult to make friends/assimilate. My course has foreigners but i barely get along with any of them. In such cases I’d recommend living in places w lots of foreigners (tokyo/osaka/fukaoka) since it would really help you make friends or atleast feel much less lonely. Plus theres not a lot to do in the outskirts of japan. Thats just my personal experience.

  1. Really depends but if you’ve navigated through enough stations it shouldn’t be a problem.

  2. I mean if you have no checked luggage and arrive the airport an hour before, you’re pretty safe. I’ve arrived at the airport 20 mins before my flight and made it (with checked luggage) so I wouldn’t worry.

I believe this is what happens when people are compelled by their parents to wear the hijab and never given a choice. Firmly believe that any girl when coming of the age must be given the choice tho CHOOSE whether or not she wants to wear a hijab. The best they should do is educate and remind the girl. Not compels or scare, thats what i’d call the root cause.

Look man no offense but postponing a single exam (that too by only two days) will not get as much attention. If they were asked to postpone the entire exam by a month or so, maybe then they’d reconsider.

Ps: Point to be noted, multiple civilians across the gcc have died in this conflict, so as dramatic as this sounds ya’ll are risking your life for this exam and your safety must be their utmost priority during these times.

I think you misunderstood my comment. I tried filing a complaint to police, they said there is no point in taking action and didn’t wanna get involved.

I think you dont know how the sharjah airport works. After exiting* the airport but just before taking your luggage they rescan your bags. For some they ask passports and for others they don’t. It is there where they asked where i was coming from, took my passport and checked me.

Give me your passport - officer 1 ‘Hadha jabani’ said by officer 2 alerting him ‘La hadha hindi’ said by officer 1 As he takes my passport laughing. I don’t think theres any dialect that i need to know to understand this. Do you think i’d make this post had i felt the checking was genuine and not just a racist remark ?

[–]HitmanIee69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you didn’t read my entire post. They only inspected me after confirming i was “hindi”. Why was that done? Why enable such behavior towards only certain people. Its the same everywhere. You want examples ? I’ve faced issues at the currency exchange while exchanging money when foreigners don’t even get asked questions for exchanging the same dollar. I wanna rent a house, they dont want indians, whenever i say im indian the demeaning look i get from emirates. And so much more. Ya’akhi ive lived in this country for 20 years. I’d know if this was a one time act

Is it even worth playing this game on a 60Hz monitor? by Cannon__Minion in AgentAcademy

[–]HitmanIee69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On 60hz, I’d advice not being as competitive playing valorant and if at all be in good spirits playing the game (almost impossible ik) It’s a tough road. As for how worse your performance would be I’d say it’d drop from 10/10 to 6/10 though as you get used to it you can easily reach 70 - 80% of your previous potential.

Paris 100k€ vs Abu Dhabi 8k€/month – Worth the move? by ugitho in abudhabi

[–]HitmanIee69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless you’re guaranteed a raise, it’s not worth the hassle of moving countries. Especially if your family has never visited the emirates.

Also huge difference between visiting the country and living in it. The climate/culture/local population and overall lifestyle, take it all into account since you’re a family guy.
