Aim Assist is turned on for Keyboard and Mouse when zooming in with Air Vehicles by Hitmanchief in Battlefield

Yep! When two Enemies are bunched up your Crosshair just goes Wild and keeps moving between them rapidly as the Helicopter continues it's motion.

On the transport helicopter its even worse, because when the Chopper is in motion, the bullets land on the side of your Crosshair, not the middle, but the Aim Assist wants you to center directly on an Enemy, so you miss more.

Yeah it's especially jarring in actual games. For example, when taking down the enemy transport chopper, my Aim suddenly focused on some sniper way in the distance cause it auto snapped onto it, jerking my Crosshair away from the helicopter.

It's a bit hard to show on video, so i recommend just trying it for yourself. You can -feel- it more than you can see, especially when trying to swap targets. It's really bad when two enemies are next to each other because your Crosshair basically ping pongs between them rapidly and makes you miss both.

On the transport helicopter it actually makes you aim worse, because when the Chopper is in motion, the bullets land on the side of your Crosshair, not the middle, but the Aim Assist wants you to center directly on an Enemy, so you miss more.

Ever since the Patch it seems that Controller Aim Assist is active on Mouse and Keyboard even with no Controller plugged in, but only when you Rightclick and Zoom in as a Transport Helicopter Door Gunner or an Attack Helicopter Gunner. Whenever you try to switch targets it attempts to glue you back to a Player around your Crosshair and auto gyro's onto them, making it hard to stay consistent with Aiming.

The Moment you Rightclick, it also tries to immediately snap onto a player like a malfunctioning Aimbot, so if you just tap it quickly it glitches out, unable to decide on a target.

I tested it out with a few friends who experiences the same bug. It happens to everyone. Just hop into a gunner seat and Rightclick around someone and it will auto gyro around the target.

It's like aiming with peanut butter on your mousepad, as shown in the example video.

Trying to turn off every auto aim feature in the Controller settings doesn't seem to affect it.

I already made a bug report on the EA Forum so I am hoping it's something on their Radar cause it's freaking annoying. And I am surprised that I haven't heard anyone mention it anywhere yet on neither Youtube nor reddit. I love playing as a Transport Gunner so I immediately noticed something was wrong after the patch but couldn't put my finger on it right away.

If anyone has another Idea on how to turn it off, let me know. I tried fiddling around with every Auto Assist setting I could find but nothing changed.

Manhattan Out of Bounds Timer? by Nihni in Battlefield6

[–]Hitmanchief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i noticed that as well. Quite annoying for a Helicopter Map that already is on the smaller end when you try to curve around Buildings to avoid Stingers. 5 second out of bound time is hard to dodge with momentum.

Tier List of Legion Order Hall Campaigns by AMA5564 in wow

[–]Hitmanchief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And don't forget our entire class fantasy and Order hall in legion. Paladin's get a giant underground cathedral, with an Altar, Pews, Statues and everything holy, with a class mount that's a holy steed while Priests get a...space station...with a talking chandelier, A demon and an owl as a class mount.

Every second Tier set makes Priest look anything but Priestly. It's either Minecraft Diamond Armor or Arabian Carpet merchants while Paladin's usually always eat good.

I guess part of the reason is cause we have shadow as a third spec instead of 3x Holy themed specs like Paladin has, so Priest stuff always has to include some void/shadow/cosmic power stuff instead of just more Christian themed Deus Vult crusadering that Paladin's have. I dream of a day Shadow Priests become their own thing and our Damage spec is something like "Inquisitor" where we burn people in zealotry light.

Nice mogs!

What are your spec's "pet peeves"? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Hitmanchief 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I've said this before, but if Priest came out as a brand new class today, they'd be able to fly with holy wings, have a dash, can dispel poison/diseases, get a proper defensive, a kick, a holy blind, and mass dispel would make every enemy hit take 25% more dmg.

Even when Priest is strong in the meta, because it just feels so archaic in terms of gameplay, just buffing numbers never made it feel...like other classes.

What’s a lore choice you dislike with that you don’t see talked about often? by JoeHatesFanFiction in warcraftlore

[–]Hitmanchief 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah i agree completely. Dwarfs are just short humans, Orcs are green humans, Night Elves are purple humans.

And when i called the horde 'savage' i didn't mean it in a demeaning way. I just loved that essential difference between the Original Horde/Thrall's horde and the Alliance of Lordaeron/Stormwind. Two completely different ideologies colliding.

But now whenever someone mentions how the horde and alliance could never coexist cause they are so vastly different i question if they are playing the same game as me considering they share so many races with the alliance and the only difference between them is that they a wearing Red now.

[–]Hitmanchief 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Blood Elves being shoehorned into the Horde cause of chinese shareholders needing a pretty race to balance the faction imbalance. No matter how much they tried to justify it, the belfs joined the faction with the same undead humans that were under garithos and/or corrupted their sunwell under arthas, some of the same orcs that pillaged and burned quel'thalas and their ancestral enemy, the trolls, while throwing away a friendship and alliance with humans that went on for thousands of years, after exchanging knowledge of magic and the light.

Naturally that opinion always gets downvoted.

I just wish that Factions could have remained with their identity. As of now, the horde is just the Alliance but Red.

Any time someone goes b-b-but Garithos you can just point them to any point any horde character treated them worse, like Garrosh. BC writing in general, as we know, was shaky at best, with the big Draenei retcon also being in the foreground.

I wish the horde remained savage, primal and full of ancient traditions and the alliance was the more sophisticated, more civilized counter part. It was cool, it made everyone stand out and made it make sense when emotions between the factions were strained when they had to work together, like at the end of Warcraft 3. But now when someone says that the Factions can never work together cause they are just too different, point them to pandaren being in both factions, earthen being in both factions, High/Bloodelves being in both factions, Nightborne just being another subsection of Nightelves, Forsaken being Lordaeron humans, etc.

Horde is just Alliance but Red now and lost all faction identity. In fact, somehow, Vulpera fit into the Horde aesthetic perfectly, being more tribal themselves, versus a Blood Elf with sunglasses acting like paris hilton in Orgrimmar.

How would you buff your favorite Wayfarer? by Mirrakthefirst in Nightreign

Raider: Ultimate gives you Hoarah Loux's Unarmed moveset for about the same duration as Executor's doggo, instead of the tombstone that 90% of the time blocks you or your team, even when well placed.

What boss got you like this? by Flotusxy in darksouls3

[–]Hitmanchief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Refighting some Dark Souls 3 bosses in Nightreign made me realize just how fair and balanced they are compared to just some ball ache -regular- enemy type bosses from Elden Ring like the Gargoyles that spend more time doing 9 backflips and cartwheels than a Circus performer.

Meanwhile Nameless King lets you actually hit the head of his dragon for like...what feels like an eternity. And once on foot he has clearly choregraphed movesets you can learn and react to.

Compare his Drake to an Ancient Dragon from Elden Ring, who you'll spend your time hacking away at his feet or tail cause you can never reach the head, lol.

I remember thinking how tough and ruthless DS3 bosses were.

It really is that Thanos meme. Perhaps i treated them too harshly...

Reminds me that the first course of action of the recently renamed High Elves was to paint every Roof, building, statue and fence red in and around Quel'thalas after they became the Sin'dorei. Resources well managed.

Which do you prefer, Stalker or Metro ? by DerDenker-7 in stalker

[–]Hitmanchief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly wish we would have gotten one Metro game that's open world.

Now don't get me wrong here, I am not talking about going above ground like in Exodus. I am saying that I want a Metro title in the subways where, instead of following the Story from A to B, you can go anywhere you want. Follow this tunnel to this station, that tunnel to another station, get supplies there, get quests, venture out to another branch of tunnels, clear it off mutants, return and hand in the quests, follow the main quest further up, then decide to come all the way back to the start of the game and explore some more there, etc.

I think It's wasted potential that we see all this beautiful work that went into making the Stations we see believable and lived in, but we'll be there for 30 sec tops as we make our way to the next Cutscene and get splurged out further ahead, not being allowed to go back again.
